"Test your equipment before you join..." function for attendees
When joining a Teams meeting via invite URL, it should be possible for attendees to "Test the Audio/Video capabilities of your device before joining the conference...". That could be a link to a test room, or some test scenarios, or some diagnostic software which checks out if camera, microphone and speaker are working correctly for this meeting. That tool or link might even check out the issues if the attendee cannot install Teams, perhaps due to missing permissions...
Thus, it would be great if there was some kind of test link or capabilities check. And perhaps with hints on what to check or even fix it when something was wrong.
This should be not just Windows related, but Teams related, if possible.
It is also meant mostly for external attendees who do not join Teams meetings regularly. But I can als see advantages for regular Teams App users to make sure the equipment works flawlessly and supporting a good end user experience with Teams.

Indeed, Skype (web) does have some test functions.
Skype 4 Business (web) does not. And also Teams (web) does not have it either.
But we know that Skype, Skype 4 Business and teams are 3 completely different products.
And all of the 3 products have different features in the app and the web version...
Skype has a built-in test feature where you dial a dummy. A similar function would be obvious in Teams
