Allow Azure AD Users (w/out O365 License) to Logon to Teams as Guest
We have several Azure AD User account which do not have Office 365 licenses. We would like them to participate in Teams. Unfortunately there appears to be a bug preventing them from signing-on:
Create Azure AD user (don't assign any Office 365 licensing)
Enable "Guest Access" for Teams
Add the Azure AD user to the desired team
Azure AD user attempts to logon to "teams.microsoft.com"
Teams UI is shown for a split-second, but then user is redirected to splash page asking them to request that their administrator enable teams for the organization. (see attached)

If you have Teams free you should be able to assign one of the 300 free licenses from the admin portal admin.microsoft.com
If you are using a combination of paid licenses and just want to add a user, Microsoft is offering 10000 free licenses for 1 year starting when the first user sign-in with his work account to teams.microsoft.com it will automatically be added to the tenant. Afterward you will be able to assign the rest of the 9999 licenses to other users.
