  1. After new updates, I cannot get rid of "Let's get the conversation started" message

    After new updates, I cannot get rid of "Let's get the conversation started" message in conversations for all team areas. I attempted to add a new tab to get it to go away and it still won't go away. Quit and reopened and it still shows. It persists even after restarting the computer.

  5. Approval is in pending state in the mobile application

    Teams / Shifts. User story: I would like the mobile application to be updated when I have approved pending request for absence. The desktop application does not show any pending requests, but the mobile app still show the request as pending eventhough they are approved.

  6. URL handling bug in mobile Teams (iOS)

    There is an error somewhere when handling URLs with "%" characters. Steps to reproduce:
    1. Add a new Website tab to a Teams channel that contains "%20" - for example https://mydomain.sharepoint.com/:f:/r/sites/MyProject/Shared%20Documents
    2. Go to the tab in iOS Teams
    3. iOS will attempt to open the link in OneDrive and says "Open in browser? Link can't be opened in the OneDrive app. Do you want to open it in your browser?"
    4. Tapping OK takes you to Safari, which fails to load the site because the URL has now changed to https://mydomain.sharepoint.com/:f:/r/sites/MyProject/Shared%2520Documents - note the extra "25" that has been…

  7. Cannot use Safari even after disabling Intelligent Tracking Protection

    I've tried to use Safari 12.1 (14607.1.40.1.4) (macOS 10.14.4) to access the Teams web app all to avoid an issue with OAuth not working due to the ancient embedded chromium browser in the desktop version of Teams. (GitHub does not support the old version and is disabling OAuth authorizations using the embedded browser with a scary banner.)

    So, annoying, but okay, I'll use the web app to get around this issue. Except the Safari preview requires that I disable Intelligent Tracking Prevention in the browser, globally. Grrrr.... Fine. Take my privacy, I just need my GitHub plugin authorized.

  11. Excel won't stop scrolling top to bottom in view and edit mode.

    When accessing a shared document in Excel online it keeps flicking back to the top of the page and I cannot get to the part of the sheet I want to edit. Sometimes restarting it fixes this but not often

  13. Display of emoji in chat window discrepancy

    Teams renders some Emoji's in chat differently from the preview pane. For example, the FacePalm animation in chat is rendered as the standard Unicode Emoji.

  15. Android issues with 1416 File preview failing

    Multiple clients across multiple teams all running various flavours of Android but version 1416 of Teams App are reporting file preview failures when attempting to view them in the Files tab. Not specific to file type, although most users are seeing the issue with Excel. See attached screenshot. have had users sign out, delete the app, get removed from the Team and added back in, no difference. Users can view files quite happily on desktop or download them directly to embedded app (such as excel) on the mobile handset ok.

  17. Click on 3 dots in favorites list doesn't work for general channels

    If you click on the 3 dots of a general channel in the favorites list, the option menu will not be shown. if you select a general channel and click on the 3 dots next to the title (above the conversations), the option menu shows.

  20. Swapping between accounts meant that one account had all the rights of the previous account

    I use two accounts for Teams - one that is my own work account (only a member of any teams that I need access to on a day-to-day basis) and another that is used by the whole department as a service account (which is an owner of every team that has been created).

    Using the desktop app, I signed out from the department service account and into my own, but had Owner level access to all the teams in the business. Any changes that I made (to teams that my account wasn't even a member of) were made successfully, but…
