  1. Problem in joining meetings

    After updating the app, I am not able to join any meeting. After pressing the join button, it shows that getting details... and then it says "The meeting hasn't started yet. Please try again shortly" whereas the meeting has already started. Due to this reason, I am unable to join any meeting.On the other hand, the people who didn't update the app can join easily.   2. Wav file preview is not working anymore

    In the previous versions, it was possible to listen to audio files inside channels or chats without downloading them. A recent update (in June 2020) has broken this feature for .wav files.

  3. Multi org usage is ruining my life. I need alerts for both to work!!!

    When using two orgs notifications are pushed to background for the non-selected org. This is a huge issue for resources trying to communicate with or support multiple instances. I need a combined feed!

  4. Status updates very slowly

    Teams status updates to others very slowly no matter whether I change it on the app or the windows program. It’s annoying. People think I’m away when I’m not or available when I’m offline

  5. Chat icon number but no chats pending

    Chat icon has number on it, but not clear why all chats are up to date. I expect clicking on chat icon with notification to take me to that chat or first if more than one.

  6. Although the microphone icon indicated "muted", others can still hear me.

    Steps:
    1) Join Teams Meeting
    2) Mute microphone
    3) "hey, can anyone still hear me?"
    4) Other users acknowledge they can still hear
    5) Verify the microphone icon has a strike through it, and there is a message above indicating microphone is muted

    After reading a similar issue in a forum I tried disabling and re-enabling the microphone via settings for the Teams app. This has (for now) solved the problem. However, this is a serious problem. The app must be better at confirming that the microphone is actually muted.

  9. Display name of inbound calls from Direct Routing not consistently in Teams

    We have a case that the Windows Desktop and web version of Teams give a problem in a specific scenario of inbound calls from Direct Routing.

    Example 1:
    Inbound call from SBC to Teams user give the popup ‘0123456789 [Service] [CS] Person name’. Checking the SIP headers this is was sent to the SBC:
    From: "[Service] [CS] Person name" <sip:0123456789@87.233.100.107>;

    This is okay.

    Example 2:
    Inbound call from SBC to Teams user give the popup ‘0123456789 Unknown user’. Checking the SIP headers this is was sent to the SBC:
    From: "[Service] [CS] 0123456789" <sip:0123456789@mydomain.eu>;

  10. Auditorium Mode only works for first user joining Live Event

    When using Teams Live Events the Auditorim Mode can only be enabled by the first user. Once the second or subsequent Presenter or Producer joins the Auditorium mode cannot be used by anyone.

  11. presence

    Even when i log out for the day, my status is Away but not Offline until next day i login back(Which still stays as Away until i reset the status). Its been a month and struggling with it. People keep pinging me and tells that my presence is Away and hence pinged. Any leads towards solution is highly appreciated.

  12. Virtual backgrounds not working

    Virtual backgrounds used to work with Teams Client for macOS. But with v. 1.3.00.9271. on macOS Catalina (10.15.2) I'm not longer able to select and use any virtual backgrounds at all anymore. The actual bacground files are still in the respective folder. Already re-installed the client.

  13. Teams locks SharePoint file properties for extended time

    Teams desktop client locks SharePoint files for around 15mins, even after "closing" in Teams. This prevents users, PowerApps and Flows from editing document metadata/column properties for any document in SharePoint that has been viewed in Teams within the last few minutes. This makes it diffucult to build automation as error handling must be built into steps that try to update document properties. Also it's confusing for users who enounter the issue even after closing the file in Teams. SharePoint web, Office web apps and desktop apps release the file imediately, why can't teams do the same?   15. I do not see updated profile pictures of my team members. Profile picture seems to be cached on Mac version of Team.

    My team members have updated their profile picture but I only see them old picture on my mac team. On a web Team client I do see new profile picture

  18. The call doesn’t come up on my phone when someone rings me

    When someone calls me through teams the call comes through up on my desktop but my phone doesn’t receive the call like it used to. I don’t have a headset attached to my computer so I can’t answer the calls.

  19. Teams desktop app fails to start with roaming profiles

    Teams desktop app on Windows 10 1909 will not start (process appears for a second then silently disappears). I think this is due to the lockfile created in AppData\Roaming\Microsoft\Teams\ already existing as manually deleting it allows the app to start

    In an organization where virtually all employees hot desk with roaming profiles, can Teams be made so it deletes the old lock file, or, at the very least display an error message instead of just not starting up and silently exiting.

  20. PowerPoint presentation shows randomly blank slides or slides with missing picture icons

    I was the only one in the meeting watching the PowerPoint presentation on the Android Teams App. Suddenly after maybe 5 slides.. multiple "missing picture icons" appeared instead of the PowerPoint content.
