  1. Renaming a channel isn't applied to all areas that the channel name is used.

    Original Name: "Test Renaming"
    New Name: "Test Renaming1"

    Areas that the old channel name continues to appear.
    - Under the Files tab
    - The backend folder of the channel
    - The url used for "Open in SharePoint"

  2. Desktop Application Sign in Loop

    Hello! I work with an IT team. We have stumbled upon this issue for a couple of users where after installing teams it keeps looping on startup. Meaning it opens the "signing in" window closes and restarts this action. We haven't found any solution getting it to work. Any help would be appreciated.

    What we have tried so far:
    - Re-installing 64bit
    - Uninstalling and installing 32bit version
    - Running as administrator.
    - Signing in as a different user to install and signing back to original user to run.

  3. Inbound calls from Call Queues go on hold and can't be resumed

    How do you stop the firmware auto updating from Microsoft Teams

    Set-CsIPPhonePolicy -EnableDeviceUpdate $false

    This does not seem to work anymore as I’ve just found all my phones updated to 58.15.0.45

    When I downgraded all my phones on Friday to the version stated in your article, the issue was resolved. I came in this morning and the problem is back because all my phones have upgraded despite the policy being set.

  7. Can't tap links in Excel documents on Teams iOS app

    There's a bug where iOS app users cannot tap links in Excel sheets inside Teams. It works fine on Android; the issue is with iOS. This is really important for my organization.

  8. Cannot delete a message from my I- phone

    I looked at Google and they show a “ more” box that contains a delete choice—- but all I get are the emojis on the I-phone.

    Need an individual message delete and a mass delete function!!

  10. Meeting entry and exit announcements

    Teams does not allow you to suppress participant entry and exit messages per call. It is a global setting that is "on" or "off" for the entire organization. This should be flexible, as it was with Skype for Business previously. On large organization calls, this can become an annoyance, but on smaller, confidential calls, it is good to know if participants have entered the call.

  11. Quiz assigned by Teams/Assignments used by a guest user

    Quiz within Teams/Assignments can not be opened from a guest user. A user within the organisation can open the quiz. If this would work for the quests as well would be nice.

  12. Meeting scheduling page won't close.

    Scheduling meeting page not closing after meeting being created. Instead of closing the page, it asks the user whether he/she keeps the meeting or discard it despite the meeting has already been created and can be viewed on the calendar.

  13. Unable to log in to my colleague's teams account. Win10 Dell desktop.

    My colleague is unable to log into his team's account. He used teams for the first two days. Then he did not use it for a few days. He happened to forget his password. When we tried to reset it for him, it threw an error saying that the ID did not exist. When we removed him from the team and tried to add him again.
    Teams said that his ID was not found when we tried to reset his password. When we tried to sign him up from scratch using the same ID, teams said that there already exists…

  14. RSS Feeds not working for Channel

    Added a RSS to a Channel but the Channel never updates when the feed is updated.

    I've tried this with several Feeds.

    I know the feeds work as they update in my Feed Reader (Feedly)

  16. presence taken over by teams doesnt fall back after switching back user

    When a user is signed in to Guest access and then switches back, the Setting "Register Teams as the chat app for office", remains checked.
    Meaning the inband provisioning doesnt happen when we switch back to original Domain.

    This is a known issue as when I switch over to Guest account, it detects the settings and enables it. But when I switch back, it doesnt want to take out the settings and keeps it intact causing the Presence issue in my Outlook.

  17. planner

    While creating a Team and trying to use an exsting plan it does not alle me to do so. The Option is there but when you try to select an existing plan Nothing appears. I would like to copy a plan from planner to Teams.

  18. I am not able to create a New Group Contact Group - limit has been reached.

    I work for a Hospitality Company who have contracts with thousands of customers. I support our test environment and deal with many Account Managers that take care of our hotel customers. The current tool we are using allows for way more groups then Office 365 supports - I understand there has to be some kind of limitation. I have many Group Contacts because it make my job a lot easier to be able to contact the AM when I am working with that particular customer and I know which AM belongs to which customer, as well as having contacts for…

  19. opening files in teams - and loosing them again

    having all items in one pane is wonderful, till you need to switch to something else like an incoming chat. If you are working on a file in Teams and you switch to the chat section, your file is closed and you need to open it and choose edit again.

    This suggestion goes into many other suggestions allowing Teams to be multi windowed so we can spread work out on monitors/views etc. As a knowledge worker Teams just isn't working from an efficiency perspective.
