  1. There is not enough room on the title bar to drag the window when using split screen or monitors in portrait mode

The available click / drag area is about 1/8 of an inch. See RED highlight on attached image. There should always be a 1-2 inch drag handle in the title bar, or better yet, GET THE SEARCH BOX OUT OF THE TITLE BAR. Let windows handle the window management things. At least Visual Studio's cramming of the menu in the title bar complies with my OS visibility settings, and can be turned off.

  2. Screen sharing control bar moves after clicking certain icons on it

When viewing a shared screen, clicking the "show conversation" or "show participants" icons causes the control bar to move left by several inches in order to accommodate the newly opened sidebar.

I've accidentally requested control in several meetings when trying to quickly view the chat because of this, as when the sidebar is opened, the "request control" button moves exactly where the "show conversation" and "show participants" icons had previously been.

  3. Teams UI Issue in half screen mode: Teams pane is hiding tabs in halft screen mode

When I use teams in half screen mode along with other applications for the multitasking purpose, The teams pane in the application hides the portion of the current working tab. It makes hard to use teams in half screen mode along with other application and restrict my productivity.
There should be an option for hiding teams list pane for better usablity.

Also when I resize the teams application size, my application doesn't change the size according to the teams application. Instead of this it appears scroll bar for that.

  5. With a recent update, the meeting window goes funny when you click on "Show Conversation"...

I am using Teams version 1.3.00.21759 (64-bit) and I noticed Monday when switching to meeting conversation the window flickers a bit and then I get what you see in the image attached--essentially the bottom right 2/3 or so of the actual screen. I can't move or scroll up to get to the controls. The only way to fix this is to leave the meeting using ALT-F4 and then return to the meeting (and not go into the conversation.... ever).

Our tentative workaround is to unselect "Turn on new meeting experience", but we would like to have this functionality restored.

  7. sharing bar not updating

The sharing bar is not updating the window list or the images in the screens after the meeting has started. This means that I need to open a window that I want to share BEFORE I start the meeting.

This was working, but broke a couple of versions of Teams ago.

  8. Exporting Teams User List

As an enterprise IT Manager at a firm who recently moved to Teams as our primary phone provider. The inability to do a simple CSV export is frustrating.

I am not sure if you can do this via PowerShell but a simple export button would fix this frustrating issue.

Support has confirmed that there is no native way to do a simple CSV export. Please fix this!

  9. There's a limit of 15 pinned chats.

Is there a way to make it unlimited or maybe max it to 30 instead?

  10. Cannot link OneNote notebook to Teams

    To Whom It May Concern,

When trying to add a link from my OneNote account to my Teams account, I got the following error:

Sorry, we had trouble getting your notebooks.

    Error Response: Transient error occured while processing request. {0}
    Error Code: 20280

Occurred on MacBook Pro, running High Sierra (OS 10.13.2), using latest versions of Teams and OneNote. Encountered same error using software on hard drive and going through web browser (Firefox).

  11. Please read suggestions for better navigation functionality

The 'back' and 'forward' buttons do not offer enough navigation functionality. Please add a 'Recent', 'Favorites', 'Quick Access' or a taskbar that allows direct access to documents that a user frequently accesses while working on a project.

  12. Video conference web-cam flickering in Teams (50Hz vs 60Hz issue)

I live in Australia where our power frequency is 50Hz.

    I am running Windows 10 Build 1709 (64-bit) and have a Micrsoft Lifecam HD-3000.

I have been troubleshooting the issue of a flickering video feed when using video conferencing at home (which is quite common across our business and clients in Australia and globally at the moment due to COVID-19)

1 - If I use Microsoft Skype v8.61.0.87, in the settings in Skype, I can set the webcam "Powerline Frequency" to either 60Hz or 50Hz. If I set it as 60Hz my video feed 'flickers'...whereas if I set it to…

In the main window, Ctrl+Mouse wheel zooms the UI. This does not work in a popped-out chat window.

  14. Pop Out Chat Window Scaling Broken

The ability to pop out a chat window was finally enabled in our tenant. I just noticed the new chat window does not follow or adhere to the Window Scaling I have selected for Teams itself.

For example I have zoom set to 120% but when I pop out a chat the window is only at the default 100%. There doesn't seem to be a setting for the popout window.

  15. Teams control ribbon menu obstructing

In a Teams meeting where someone is sharing their screen, the meeting control bar (audio/video, share, chat, leave meeting, etc) is centered in the lower part of the screen, but can still obstruct part of the material being presented / shared.

While this goes away if your mouse pointer is positioned to the left or right of the presentation and not moved for a while, however, in today's multitasking world, that's not realistic.

So, could you please make it so this control bar can be moved to the left or right and displayed vertically, or at least make it so…

  17. Close window [x] button doesn't work what so ever

Instead, the x button acts as the "minimize" button, but when you Alt-Tab, the window is still present. The icon of Teams is gone from the bar but the window still interferes with Alt-Tabing aka, you effectively can't close the window unless you quit Teams altogether.

  19. Live events Q&A for presenters/producers keeps jumping to top of chat.

When running a live event as producer or presenters the Q&A always scrolls back to the top of the original chat rather than just staying where you left it (if you are switching for example between new and published).
Also the vertical scroll bar on the right for the chat on all the presenters/producers monitors seems to be half off the screen, so it makes it difficult to use. I think most of the monitors were 1080P, but I don't know if anyone was using windows scaling.

  20. Colored syntax in code snippets do not show on channel discussions with dark theme, but will show during edit mode or in chats.

    Encountered on Windows desktop client.

    Reproduction steps:
    1. Set theme to Dark
    2. Go to a channel
    3. Start a conversation with a code snippet
    4. Choose a language for the code snippet (i.e. javascript)
    5. Observe how there is colored syntax while in edit mode.
    6. Observe how there is no colored syntax once out of edit mode.

Do the same thing in a chat, and observe how colored syntax works as expected in both edit and non-edit states.
