  1. Bug: Pinned File disappears in Teams after pinning

    See here

    https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/pinned-items-in-sharepoint-not-showing-in-teams/m-p/1099050

Once a file has been pinned in a channel, if you leave the Files tab and return it no longer displays. It does, however display as pinned in SharePoint

  2. Documents link in conversation should be permanent

Documents related to a conversation should always be accessible even if the file is moved belong the Teams folders or the file is renamed. We face situation where we start a conversation on documents and then we decided to move those documents in a separate folder. By doing this the document related to the conversation in the channel cannot be opened again since we recieved a file not found.

  3. Documentset inheritance not working vor office files

In order to enable metadata inhertitance we switch the contentype of the generals folder to a documentset contenttype (which we provisioned with pnp provisioning). Then we set some metadata to the generals folder.(shared columns)

Adding office files (pptx. docx, xlsx) via teams files tabs will not trigger the inhertitance on the document set.
Updating the generals folder will trigger the inhertiance.
this scenario works for image files when added via teams file tab.

the whole scenario is working properly when the user is working directly in the sharepoint library.

  4. Deleted member still on my Sharepoint

A deleted member of my team is still saving files onto my Sharepoint space. Even though I can't see it when I access myName.sharepoint.com.

Critical: Is there anyway to revoke that access?

  5. Unable to upload files

We just setup our instance of teams and after a day, we still are getting the error message on all files:

We are setting up your file directory.
Try refreshing the page after a few minutes or check back later.

  6. Files tab shows a cached content and refreshes every time

On Teams version 1.3.00.362, with the new Files experience, every time we open the Files view, it appears to first load an old (cached?) content, before immediately refreshing and getting the updated content from Sharepoint Online. I can switch back and forth between Posts and Files, and every time the Files tab resets toshow old content and automatically refreshes.

  7. Files shared to a team don't show in the mobile app

I am in a class team, and a piece of homework was set with a file uploaded to the team. All of my classmates couldn't access the files from the app on their mobile app (both Android and iPhone), only by accessing the desktop website or app, either on their computer or by requesting the desktop site in their mobile browser.

  10. In Teams documents are getting locked when I open them for editing on the desktop, which is fine. However, the lock does not release.

In Teams documents are getting locked when I open them for editing on the desktop, which is fine. However, the lock does not release after I save the file. This is not a good experience for active collaboration.

  11. Onedrive sort by name not working

When trying to upload a file to a channel using Onedrive "attach" option, it looks like files and folders are sorted by "last modified date" regardless of hitting "name" to sort ascending or descending by name.

This made it very difficult to browse my OneDrive for Business for the files I needed, please fix!

FYI, this was posted in the "Public" feedback area, but it is definitely a bug, so reposting. (original post - https://microsoftteams.uservoice.com/forums/555103-public/suggestions/33178930-upload-file-from-onedrive-wrong-ordering-of-name)

  12. Moving a folder into a folder

It's not possible to move a created folder into another folder in the files area. You should be able to move folders in the same way as with files. Or even better with a drag and drop function. Right now I have to go trough sharepoint to move a folder into a folder

  13. Files don't exist in channels in mobile app android 1416/1.0.0.2019052301

The file-tab is gone. You can't find it and it's not available under More.
I've tried different users and reinstalled the app etc. It's the same problem in all Teams. I can open attachments in conversations, that are saved in the team and channel.

It works fine in iOs, same users.

  16. I’m having to submit a file for an assignment, and it won’t work. I saved it again, and that file is okay, but I cannot remove the others.

I’m having to submit an assignment, but for some reason some of the files won’t work. I saved them as a different file and added them on, and they work fine, but I can’t remove the ones having issues.

  17. Unable to link Google Drive to Teams Desktop App

When I attempt to link my Gooogle Drive account to Teams, I'm able to initiate the process of adding cloud storage. But after allowing access to my Drive account, the application stays in processing and does not finish set-up. The progress circle remains in the browser and on Teams (see attached screenshots). I have also attempted to utilize different browsers but the error remains the same. However, I am able to view my Google Drive files when I use the web app (see attached). The desktop app is where I am facing this issue.

  20. Unable to open files via the Teams app.

When attempting to open files via the app. Im advised that the file cannot be opened due to the files not being supported. Running 13.2.2 currently on ipad. What i find strange is that all files would open prior to the update. I've deleted the app and reinstalled yet still unable to open files.
