  1. staticTabs are created automatically in manifest.json without name and contentUrl, So we could not install Bot.

    When we create custom app bot using APP STUDIO, Personal tabs(about, conversations) are created automatically. Then i try to install the app, the error will occur.
    The error when i install app is as bellow.

    manifest.json の読み取り中にエラーが発生しました:
    "staticTabs[0].name" は必須です
    "staticTabs[0].contentUrl" は必須です
    "staticTabs[1].name" は必須です
    "staticTabs[1].contentUrl" は必須です

    This error message say each name and contentUrl are required, but I can not edit and delete each tabs from APP STUDIO.

    There was not this problem before.
    Does anyone know what is the problem in this situation?

  2. Adaptive Cards Carousel not displaying in Teams

    I'm a dev from AdaptiveCards team at Microsoft.
    I’m helping multiple customers who use AdaptiveCards in Carousel format in the context of Teams app.
    They complained that there is a hard limit on how many adaptive cards can be attached as carousel format.
    Especially, customers want to know if there really exists the hard limit; they claimed it to be 10. They also wanted to know If your team is considering removing the limit.

    Also customer complained the lack of documentation of this limit.

  4. "A required parameter (cmid) was missing" Moodle app Microsoft Teams.

    Some moodle links (which are working properly when opened outside teams) inside Moodle app seem to be broken. A browser (chrome) session opens and gives the error message: "A required parameter (cmid) was missing". This makes the moodle quiz function almost impracticable inside Teams.

  5. BUG: Unable to login to bot via OAuthCard in 1:1 conversations only

    I am trying to login to bot, but clicking on Login button of the signin card has no effect in 1:1 conversations on desktop client.
    Bot has validDomains in its manifest, and signin works in channels and mobile client.

    In debug view I see this exception
    Cannot read property 'validDomains' of undefined...

  6. Can't upload attachments to chatbots integrated in MS Teams on mobile devices

    We have integrated some of our chatbots (Microsoft Bot Framework) into Microsoft Teams and everything is working except attachment upload on mobile. I can upload attachments on desktop no problem. On iOS, I only have the option to take a picture, not attach a file/image. On Android I have neither option - no taking pictures and no uploading attachments.

  9. Global app installation via custom policy

    We are developing a simple Bot and want it to get installed for every user via a custom policy. We are following this guide:

    Unfortunately there is no section "Installed Apps" in the policy editing formular where the Bot could be uploaded, only the section "Pinned Apps" (see attachment "create_policy.png")

    If we add the Bot as a pinned app and assign the policy to an user, the app won't show up for the user.

    Is there another way to install apps globally for every user from the Microsoft Teams Admin Center?

  10. The who bot does not get latest info from directory

    We updated the directory a week ago yet when I do "who is john doe" i get his old title even though it's no longer in the directory. If some just started using Teams and they do the same thing they get the latest info...

  13. shapes.export ppShapeFormatPNG results in black background instead of transparent background

    Recent Office updates is causing Shapes.Export ppShapeFormatPNG results in images with black backgrounds instead of transparent backgrounds as is expected with PNG files. Last Office version that worked as expected was: 16.0.12130.20272, unfortunately rolling back to an older version of Microsoft Office 365 isn't ideal.

  15. ActionType.Call not working in Microsoft Teams application

    So, I have a bot in .NET which is used in Microsoft Teams and deployed in Azure.

    If a user enters a command, the bot will return a HeroCard with multiple Actions on it. These actions are ActionTypes.Call with a phone number as value.

    When I try this on iOS Microsoft Teams app, it works: So I can click on the action button and it will open a call on the iPhone.
    In the desktop application of Microsoft Teams, nothing happens. So, if I click on a action button, nothing happens.

    Strange is, that in the Bot Emulator it works…

  17. Authentication issue in custom bot

    In June 2019, there was an issue where new users, who haven't used Bot before, were not able to sign-in in Bot we deployed. And, the issue had occurred several times. All incidents were self-healed, so we are thinking that there were some errors with Microsoft Teams. The users were affected by this issue for several days, and we are requesting to fix it so that it won't occur in the future. Also, please mitigate the issue faster it t occurs again.

  18. Support "tel:" links in webhook cards


    • Setting a "tel:0123456789" Url in a MessageCard/potentialAction/[@type=OpenUri] causes the potential action to be skipped from rendering (no button at all)

    • If setting a markdown or plain HTML link to a "tel:"-schema URI, then an <a> tag without href attribute is rendered.

  20. Wrong value of Name field with inbound JSON message on the outgoing webhook is responding.

    On Windows desktop apps, Web apps in browser, iOS apps correct value is responding. On Android apps responding is not value of member's profile of Teams but MS account's original profile.

    Inbound message:
    "from": {
    "id": "...",
    "name": "!!HERE!!"
    },

    I think it caused by there is not "Edit Name" menu on Android apps In member's profile of Teams.
