Files tab does not show new shared files in Microsoft Teams chat
This use to work but from few weeks ago when someone (or I) share a file in Microsoft Team Chat the files are shared but the Files tab is empty (OR it only holds files uploaded up until a few weeks ago)
I tried following the suggestion in https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/msoffice/forum/msoffice_o365admin-mso_teams-mso_o365b/files-tab-does-not-show-any-files-in-microsoft/babd7ac5-a34e-43a2-aeeb-36c875ef3fd8?auth=1
- Fully exit the Microsoft Teams desktop client. To do this, either right click Teams from the Icon Tray and select ‘Quit’, or run Task Manager and fully kill the process.
- Go to File Explorer, and type in %appdata%\Microsoft\teams.
- Once in the directory, remove all the files and restart Teams.
But I have the same problem.
Is there any solution?
Thank you in advance.

Our users are also encountering this issue. I thought it was an Advisory on the Service Health dashboard but then the advisory was removed but the issue still persists. If the advisory was referring to this issue then I think it should stay visible there until it is resolved. Otherwise confidence in the Service Health dashboard is eroded. I am already reassuring them that Microsoft engineering team is working on the issue but when the advisory disappears, to me that indicates that the problem has been resolved but as of 4/13/2021 it has not.
