Unticking "on close, keep application running" doesn't work
The Teams app still gets stuck in the taskbar tray as "available" after closing. Why is it still running when I close it?

Yes, this used to work as intended, then immediately after a Teams update both my work PC and home PC ignore the option. It continues to run in the background with four teams.exe running and limited right-click options in the notification tray.
This needs to be addressed as a priority: I work combination in office and WFH and Teams may be advertising my status as available when I am not. When Teams closes, I expect it to shut down.
This used to work as expected - closing the window would kill all Teams-related processes.
Now, the window closes but new processes appear and the icon remains in the system tray. Also, once this happens you can no longer launch the app, and although the right-click menu appears for the tray icon, the menu items for status / settings no longer work, and you can only Quit.
