Teams on macOS doesn't remember window size
When I size the MS Teams app window to a specific size, then click the red close button. Later when I launch the Teams app from the dock it goes to fullscreen instead of the window size that was set previously.
This doesn't affect the minimize (yellow) button.
Outlook has the same issue. Laughable.

Me too! It's very annoying since closing the window is something you do multiple times a day, and now it occupies all the state in the windows whenever you click Teams dock icon to focus on Teams again.
I'm trying to learn to not close the window and just hide the app, but muscle memory is stronger than my brain.
Same problem for me following a complete refresh of Teams (clearing the client cache and keychain login credentials) during which the latest client update self-installed.
macOS: Catalina 10.15.7
* Quitting the application completely and restarting remembers the window size.
* Minimizing the window (yellow button) remembers the window size.
* Closing the window (red button) forgets the window size and resets to maximized. (Not true, dedicated "Full Screen", but maximized to cover the entire screen area other than the dock and menu bar.)
Closing the application window (leaving the application running) is arguably the most commonly-used of those 3 functions on Macs, so it's incredibly frustrating.
Bug persists after further refreshes of Teams and machine reboots.
Yes, I have the same problem.
