Cannot edit/amend 'Meeting Options' in Teams to allow participants to join without waiting in lobby is giving error "Something went wrong"
I am having trouble with Microsoft Teams (free version).
I am scheduling a meeting using 'Teams App' on my iPhone or Teams App on my windows laptop.
When I click 'Meeting Options' to allow participants to join without waiting in lobby; I get this error "Something went wrong, reload the page, if it keeps happening, try again later.'
I am the host of meeting, and I do not want people people to wait in lobby for me to admit them.
I am not sure why this problem suddenly; because it was working fine for past 3~4 months.
I am getting this error for past 3 days only. I have searched online to find some solution. I have tried few options suggested online, but nothing seems to be helping. Like logging out; logging in; restart the phone; reinstall the App; try incognito mode, etc etc.
Does anyone know what is the cause and how to resolve this issue ?
Same issue using MS teams (free) on desktop PC.

I am also experiencing the same problem trying to access the meeting options from my desktop from both the app as well as the browser. Accessing the meeting options from my Android phone, does however work fine.

Found a possible fix. For me this issue only happened on one specific meeting, others were fine. On the meeting where I had this issue I was able to join the meeting in Teams and then edit and save the meeting options while in the meeting. For some reason, if you are in the meeting there is a native UI to change the options, it doesn't shell out to the web like when trying to change the options from the calendar. I assume there was some sort of data corruption in the meeting options that caused the error and saving the options from inside the meeting seems to fix it. After that I was able to edit the options normally from Outlook or Teams calendar.
SIX MONTHS LATER; still not fixed by MIcrosoft! Wow!

I have the same problem on my Mac desktop. My error message says:
Something's wrong with the meeting or the link you're using to join it
Contact the meeting organizer for help.
If that doesn't work, try signing out and back in.
"Try signing out" in this error message is shown as a hyperlink, but the link does not work. I have a stand-alone installation for family use. I have signed out and back in to MS Teams, closed and reopened Teams, uninstalling and reinstalling the Teams app, and shut down and restarted my computer. The same error message comes up every time. I am concerned, as I participate in several meetings that use Teams, and I am effectively locked out.
This problem started a week ago when I was trying to join a meeting using a link someone else sent to me. I am currently running MacOS BigSur ver 11.3, but the problem started while I was running the previous version.

It was happened few days ago. And now it is permanent. Can Microsoft just fix 1 error ? Or Microsoft still "jumping to the cloud" and has no time for such question ?
This still needs to be addressed
Has this still not been addressed?
Any solution? I'm a paying customer (I bought your software, just not through Office 365) and so would appreciate if I could use Teams properly too
Many people have the same issue at the moment. It would be great if this was fixed soon.
was this resolved at all?
