New "Tasks" Planner+To Do Error accessing Plans from Teams Planner
Error message: "The Plan is no longer available. It looks like someone removed the list from channel, so we'll remove it here too."
It seems like the Tasks app doesn't like the Planner channel or is expecting a "list" instead of a "plan".
The user is able to access the plan through the Team; If the same is attempted via the Planner tab, the app throws an error and removes the channel from the Planner tab.
Where is the option to revert "Tasks" (Planner+To Do) to "Planner"? Alternatively, how can we fix this issue?
I have attempted clearing Teams cache, changing To Do settings to not integrate with Planner etc. Error persists across all Teams
Thanks Markus for explaining the work around. The steps are absolutely correct!
We have identified the fix. We will work with our support engineers to update the release where this fix will be in.
Had a ticket with MS and they can reproduce the issue. Seems to be a bug they will fix in upcoming releases.
It seems to an issue if a team is set to 'allow members to create, update and remove tabs':False
change this value to True to solve the issue or try this workaround.
-promote the affected member as an owner for the impacted team
-have the new owner access the plan in Tasks App and confirm the plans get loaded successfully now
-then revert the change for this owner and set the account again as member instead
We are having the same issue intermittently.
It appears as thought the new Tasks by Planner app pulls the plans through the teams (ie. The “shared plans” list replicates the Teams list). On occasion we have noticed a slight lag between loading a team and when the Plan connector/tab shows up, which may indicate that there is short period where the tasks app may not see the connector and assume it has been deleted?
If you open the plan via the tab within the Team, then return to the Tasks app, the plan the. seems to work (but this is not a long term fix).
Any news? I've seen the same but suddenly it started to work again without any action taken.
For the team affected where there any members restriction set at the team level?

Same issue here. I am seeing the Plan from the Teams' Channel, but everytime I try to access it directly from Planner app, after says 15 seconds, the message appears. I still can see, from the Assigned to me list, the tasks from this plan assigned to me

I have this exact issue. This makes the planner in teams no longer usable.
Microsoft, please fix.
