MS Teams - other users see old profile picture
I regularly change my user profile picture (corporate teams account) and after a short period my profile updates across the O365 environment. However users in MS Teams typically see older images cached (from a previous meeting) on their side when we meet in teams. In other areas (eg; Outlook person card or SharePoint/Delve) they always see the correct photo.

I'm having a similar issue. I'm not sure what other's see, but after I change my profile picture, my meeting profile picture remains my previous one. It has been over a week and it hasn't updated. I also cleared my cache and still see the old one no longer on my profile.
Note: I see the current profile picture in the frame of the Teams application with my status, it is just not refreshing the picture used in meetings. I'm not sure what profile shows in the chats
To recreate. Update your profile picture through Teams (which updates all office 365). Join a meeting, see my old picture representing 'me' in the video call. Click on that picture to bring up my profile and it shows my updated profile picture.
I've even gone straight into Microsoft 365 and re-updated that profile. Nothing seems to be working.

This is an important topic as it relates to personal information in the GDPR context, especially where a user changes their mind and "opts out" of allowing their picture to be used. I am going to vote here and look for another possible topic which is related to that.
