Gmail calendar invites not coming through
From https://techcommunity.microsoft.com/t5/microsoft-teams/microsoft-teams-invites-not-showing-up-in-gmail/m-p/1726329/highlight/false#M73675 - I was able to replicate this issue. Sent a Teams invite to a Gmail address, and the calendar item was not received

It may have to do with the format of the invite (which is controlled by the sender). I found this on another forum:
As I wrote, Outlook and Exchange have the ability to send the same message with different formats to each recipient.
Open one of the messages with "Show original" in the web app. It will show the message source in a new tab. Then, search for "tnef" or "winmail.dat". If you find either of those, then the sender has chosen to send you messages in Microsoft's TNEF format, rather than using internet email standards. Gmail does its best to render them, but mostly you get plain text. The only way to fix it is to get the sender to use HTML format for rich text messages.

My organization suffered for over 2 days due to this. what will be the long term solution or workaround for this?
Has anyone found a fix into this issue?
Same issue here! This is really been messing up my meetings with customers.
It would be urgent to fix this bug, since you cannot take part in meetings because you do not know what time and hour they are. It is a big issue! Thank you!

Same issue here
I experience the same issue and has for a while. it is very annoying, both for me and all the people I have to reply to to get meeting details.
