Latest Teams update breaks Virtual Cameras - Microsoft Teams Version 1.3.00.18164
Mac OS Catalina 10.15.5 - Just prior to the update to 1.3.00.18164, Teams was able to utilize my OBS and Wirecast virtual cameras which I use all the time. Now Teams doesn't see them and yep, the permissions for screen recording, etc are all accounted for and I disabled and re-enabled the settings, as well as restarting the app(s), including Teams, etc. and the machine. Previously, I was able to choose the appropriate virtual camera. Now I only have access to the Mac's built-in webcam. Obviously, this is not ideal.
The version that did work for sure was 1.3.00.15561.
Thank you for your reports on this. Microsoft is working to re-enable secure support for virtual camera apps on the Mac client. Until then, you can use the virtual camera in Teams in Chrome or Edge on your Mac.
We will update here and at the link below when there is more news: https://docs.microsoft.com/microsoftteams/troubleshoot/teams-on-mac/virtual-camera-doesnt-work-macos.

How is it possible that this still hasn't been fixed yet?
Please fix this. I need virtual camera for acceptable video for WFH.

I am trying to use the virtual Epoccam (installed on an iPhone) on a Mac mini 2018. Zoom recognized it, but Teams does not. Interestingly, when I go to my settings, Teams recognizes Epoccam microphone as a device, but their camera does not appear as an option.
I am aware of the list of webcam devices compatible with Teams, but it
almost impossible to find them due to pandemics. When I find one, the price is absurdly higher than usual (4X). That is why I am trying to use the app installed on my cell phone, which has an excellent camera.
If you have any suggestions, it will be welcome, but I suspect that is is a bug.

WARNING—the fix by greghiggins3 to remove the signatures from the apps causes the entire OS to briefly freeze on a regular basis. Have confirmed this in version 1.3.00.18164 and version 1.3.00.21753.
Would NOT recommend this workaround.
If you need virtual camera support, use the web client until Microsoft fixes this bug.
Would appreciate a fix asap. Not professional in a business environment, when you cannot zoom in (by virtual camera) in home office, and provide a view to things you would not want to reveal.
Are you working on it for WIndows 10 as well?

I'm just here to see what other virtual cams are out there.

Logi Capture works on Windows 10 when running on web browser (Chrome) which is better than nothing but please fix the Teams desktop app for Windows 10.

Logi Capture no longer working on Windows 10 after this Teams update.
Still works in Zoom so it's definitely the Teams update.
Cant use iglasses virtual camera in Teams, like others. This makes Teams video relatively unusable for me.

Solve this, please!
Have you considered NDI to handle your virtual camera needs?

This fix by greghiggins3 (https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us/profile/e6890c1f-b55b-42cb-ba64-1c3dc06b562d) will help:
"I had the exact same thing happen to me after updating to the latest version of teams. However, I was able to come up with a solution that resolves the issue entirely. It has to do with how Apple is starting to codesign specific apps to block 3rd party CoreMediaIO plugins. If we remove that codesigning, then it will allow those 3rd party plugins to function again.
The fix is pretty simple. First, completely exit out of Teams, then open Terminal and issue the following commands:
If you havent installed xcode previously, first run:
sudo codesign --remove-signature "/Applications/Microsoft Teams.app"
sudo codesign --remove-signature "/Applications/Microsoft Teams.app/Contents/Frameworks/Microsoft Teams Helper.app"
Once you've issued those commands, open up Teams. It should ask you for an administrator password to allow the (now) unsigned application to access your keychain. Once entering your password and selecting, "Always Allow", the issue should be resolved. (At least until the next update to teams is released)."

Just got the 1.3.00.21753 update and it's still broken.
Same here. Epoccam is not working for me
Virtual Camera stopped working on the morning of an important presentation designed to encourage people to switch to Teams - the result a big no from the group. Please fix this urgently. You don't make it easy to promote your platform.
As a University lecture virtual camera's MUST work!
Please restore this functionality ASAP!
