Android app flickers whe i open it
If i dont use the android app for a couple of days and then open it, it flickers uncontrollably. I think it is syncing up with my account activity since it stops after a couple of mins
Received an update and now after many re-installs/restarts the app just hangs with 'You're all done. hang on while we get things ready for you".
Notifications still come through but no way to use the app. .... And today our iOS users report that their app has stopped working :-(

I just contacted Microsoft support and this is what they said:
"I wanted to let you know that this issue is experienced across multiple tenants and is determined to be a service incident (TM259602).
Your tenant ID has been added to the list of affected tenants and I will continue to provide you updates regarding this issue once availalble.
Thank you for choosing Microsoft."
still broken for us

As per today, my Teams on Android has been automagically fixed and now works...
This time I hadn't tried anything, just disabled WiFi by periods.
But now I can let WiFi on and Teams works properly; probably the latest update.. ???
Same issue for many users. Wifi disabling etc doesn't help. Been happening a couple weeks.

Also have the same issue. This issue happens for 2 weeks now. I hope it can be fixed asap as my work heavily depend on this and the temporary solution is very ignoring.
Same issue. Will try some of the workarounds listed but Teams is basically unusable now.
Please fix ASAP.
Tried uninstalling and reinstalling repeatedly, to no avail.
Disconnecting WiFi works, but it is not a sustainable solution.
I depend heavily on Teams and Authenticator for my work, and two weeks of this experience is becoming irritating!

Disconnecting from WIFI does help, but having to keep on disconnecting is very frustrating.
Please fix this bug ASAP
I am also having this issue.
Outlook also has a similar issue where it won't update if connected to WiFi.
Sends to be an issue with most Microsoft apps.
Confirmed problem fixed with wifi off
They will fix it soon
Turn off battery optimization for Teams. That resolved it on my Pixel 5.

Happens to my pixel 5 also. I tried clearing cache, reinstalling, clearing storage. No go. Also alike others my phone pings for every message even effort on the desktop app. This started in April.
Pixel 4a: had this problem since the 4/7/21 update. App is unusable. Lots of Android users in my company experiencing this, so IT froze the plan to migrate off of Slack -whew!-
Confirm problem goes away when I turn off wifi and use cellular data connection.
also, this doesn't just happen after a couple of days, but every time I go into teams on wifi[/edit]
Same issue. Pixel 3. If I remove authenticator, it works fine. Unfortunately I need authenticator for other things.

Same issue as Tom on my Pixel 5. Flickers uncontrollably. Very annoying and makes it almost unusable.
Also I note that every time someone messages me on desktop teams it pings on my phone as a notification but it didn't used to do that previously unless I was away from desktop and on my phone. another annoyance.
Same issue as Tom and Andrey
Pixel 3 Android 11 RQ2A.210505.002
I have my personal M365 account linked and device is registered registered with MS Authenticator. Teams is signed into my work one and the account is NOT registered with my work one.
Is anyone else using multiple M365 accounts on the MS Authenticator?
Pixel 5. Same issue as others and as Andrey posted here https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_SrA87pRVII
Happens every time I open the app and makes it unusable.
