Excel freezes during screen-sharing session
I always share Screen instead of Excel app/file. I've had to quit and re-open Excel spreadsheets too many times during screen-sharing sessions.
Is this for Excel freezing on the presenters screen or for the screen freezing on the audience side? I am having issues with being on the audience side.
Is there also a fix for Excel 2013?
All, it seems that the August updates for Office 365 resolve the issue (Enterprise version 2002, build 12527.20988) or consumer version 2007 build 13029.20344
Im having exactly the same issue

This is embarrassing... Using such a powerful application like Teams and then your screen suddenly freezes showing (sharing) a simple Excel spreadsheet. Please fix it.

We have this issue too across many users in my organisation
The only workaround that we've found is to share the whole screen and not just Excel. However, this isn't a solution. Excel doesn't actually crash, it just freezes. I found that if I stop sharing it, and let the computer sit idle for a few minutes, Excel comes good again.
Also, after some more testing today, I found that if I minimise Excel and maximise it, it comes good for a little while.
Also, testing presenting a spreadsheet through the browser app, and then CTRL+N to create a new workbook also caused Excel to stop responding.

That's really a killing problem! Fix it please! It happens to me almost daily!!
This is supposed to be a collaboration platform: together we work on something (sharing while editing). Like it is now it makes no sense. To unfreeze you hve to close the programm, stop the sharing, startover everything again
