Screen sharing broken on Linux with 1.3.00.16851
Latest release for Linux 1.3.00.16851 broke screen sharing on Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS / i3wm.
Complete screen went black. Only red border and mouse courser visible. Working fine with previews version 1.3.00.5153.
Same problem OpenSUSE 15.2 with Gnome 3.34.4

Bug also affects Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS / sawfish WM

Linux Teams screen sharing still broken in 1.3.00.16851, I've got this pinned to 1.3.00.5153 for months now. Can anyone at MS fix this?
System is Arch Linux, Xmonad, but looks like it affects any and all Linux distros and many DEs/WMs.

Also broken with teams 1.3.00.16851 on Debian 10 (GNOME Shell 3.30.2; mutter 3.30.2; Xwayland 2:1.20.4-1+deb10u1). Workarounds not working so far.

The same problem on XFCE (Xubuntu 18.10), composition off, processor AMD 5400G with internal graphics.
After I renamed the file:
was problem solved.
On default (Gnome) Fedora 31/32 the client crashes when pressing the share button.

same problem on archlinux, downgrading fix it.
I could temporary resolve this issue with the following workaround:
But untill I found this workaround it was really shitty. Screensharing was blocking my whole screen with a black window with read border. I couldn't do anything until someone else in the call was taking over screensharing.
(using ubuntu 19:10 and i3 as window manager)
Same issue here on Manjaro KDE (5.6.19-2-MANJARO) with i3wm (4.18.1-1)

Debian Bullseye, XFCE4
I also observe the same issue on Debian 10.5, fluxbox. Workaround with renaming the file helps.

same here on: Ubuntu 20.04, i3 version 4.17.1 (2019-08-30)
This bug also occurs for me on KWin rather than i3.
Same workaround works.
Same problem in opensuse leap15.1

Due to /usr/share/teams/resources/app.asar.unpacked/node_modules/slimcore/bin/rect-overlay
Same in Ubuntu 18.04.4 LTS. i3 version 4.14.1
Same issue on OpenSUSE 15.2/KDE

My experience just now confirms this on Fedora 31. Screen goes black with red border and there is no way to stop it or restore until somebody else breaks with another screen share.
