Headset mute button behaviour is inconsistent
USB headset mute controls are inconsistent depending on whether the headset is plugged in or not when Teams is started.
It appears that when the headset is plugged in before Teams is started the Mute button does not control the Teams mute button. The Teams mute button does however control the headset OK (confirmed by the LED) If its plugged in after Teams is started, all works OK in both directions.

Same issue here. if I un-mute from the app then it works. But if I use the un-mute button on my Jabra 710 connected on USB ... sometimes it works and sometimes it does not work to unmute ...
How do I Mute the microphone in Microsoft Teams using the mute button on my Wireless Plantronics Voyager Focus UC B825?
Are Mute buttons on wireless headsets not supported at all?

I also see inconsistent muting behavior with my external microphone. Often it works just fine, but then randomly using the mute button on the mic does nothing.
I can click mute/unmute in teams and it will update the external microphone, but it doesn't seem to go the other way.
Then I will join another call or meeting and it seems fine.

Same issue on same Teams version listed above (1.3.00.13565, 64bit) on Windows 10 18363.900 with Jabra HSC016
