Enable gif background effects
When you select a gif as a background effect, it just appears as a still picture and is not animated. Please add support for gifs so that if you set a gif as your background effect, it is animated. Thank you!

Contrary to popular belief, I disagree strongly. It should be possible to not animate gifs upon receiving them.

Ignore the haters Ryan, this is a great idea and one that should already be a feature. If MS want to take over this market they need to at least offer what their main competitor does! Can't wait for this!

Definitely not a priority; and people on the receiving end should have an option to NOT animate gif's.
