Flickering screen when sharing Adobe PDF's.
When sharing an adobe PDF file on application view the document continuously flickers for both the host and guests. the only way to resolve this is to hold down the mouse button. It's so bad we have resulted to Zoom to share screens. Please offer a fix ASAP.

It is realy anoying.
Mousedown with hand selected results in less flickering.
Tried with different laptop using the same resolution, same software (Acrobat Reader DC & Teams) and same 8GB RAM laptop. It is still not working. Very minor flickering on the window of Foxit PDF Reader, which will be gone when we use full screen (F11).

a repairing on Adobe Acrobat DC and re-downloading & re-installing Teams most of the times would rectify the 'flickering' issue...
Appalling: We (a large educational institution) have been using Teams and Adobe pdf's for several months now.
FIX IT Microsoft/Adobe.
I have found that the full screen display doesn't flicker EXCEPT the cursor which appears as an annoying flickering watch. It is set to disappear quickly but this severely compromises the utility of the presentation to students.

MS Teams meeting Screen is flickering while sharing with others.
I agree with all the other comments. I have the same issue with PDFs and with other applications. The most irritating one, however, is with my camera. I got a new Logitech C925e. My image keeps flickering on my PiP window and to all other participants. If I downgrade to my simpler laptop camera or even Logitech C310 the problem disappears.
The camera problem does not exist when I use Webex, for example.

Try the Web based version of MS Teams instead of the Desktop version, as a workaround.
Flickering on TEAMS when shared the pdf file. Irrespective of file size and nos. of viewers the flickering is actually irritation for both (Presenter & Participant).
Hope to get the solution on this as soon as possible.

Adding Navisworks as another application that does this when screen shared - even on a 1920x1080 monitor size. Given Navis is key for design and clash issues in construction/design coordination meetings, this is unworkable.
Same issue repeatedly happening.
This happens no matter whether I share an application or desktop. It happens whether the application is Adobe or Bluebeam. This is becoming unworkable and needs urgent attention. We share pdf documents with our client to review drawings. It's our main function so this is debilitating to our business and pushing us out of Teams. Please fix it quickly!
My screen flickers when sharing in Windows using ActivInspire for online instruction.
I tried to share in Desktop, but ActivInspire is not then not useable.

Same issue while sharing PowerBI.
Unfortunately we've seen this problem with a couple of clients too. No idea when it happens. Only on a couple of them. On most sessions this is not a problem.

This is also an issue when using CAD programs, specifically Revit 2018-2020 and AutoCAD 2018-2020. Disabling hardware acceleration in these programs does nothing to resolve flicker for presenter.

Looks like an issue of number of pixels the problem reduces or disappears if you reduce the size of the window you are sharing until it is small enough to stop flickering on your screen the scale inside the window what you are showing. Use Ctrl + on browser or scale buttons on pdf or excel. Remember the person receiving the share can also scale their view to a preferred size

How many of you are using Citrix XenDesktop?
I have the same issue on my VDI, but not on the personal laptop with the free account.Then I found this article on the Citrix website.

My customer insists on using Teams. The flickering when I share an Excel file is terrible! It's reflecting bad on me and my company since he thinks something is wrong with our sharing. Please fix this ASAP or we will have to insist customers use a different sharing service.
Sharing my whole desktop is really not a workable solution. There are issues with large screen resolution on smaller displays, and of course the potential risk of inadvertently sharing something inappropriate. This should be a high priority fix.
