macOS: teams video call freezes on notifications of teams (toast)
When I'm in a video call and a "popup" (toast) notification of teams is shown, for example because of a chat in a different channel or a notification of a new meeting starting, the video in the current call freezes for a while.
I'm on macOS Catalina (10.15.4)
You have Microsoft Teams Version 1.3.00.4460. It was last updated on 14/03/2020.

I have the same problem with the latest version (Microsoft Teams Version 1.3.00.26266, macOS 10.15.7), super annoying. Moving the mouse or pressing any key resolves the freezing (which you need to do a lot if there is an active communication going on).

I'm having this problem, too. The video freezes once the toast notification goes away (as opposed to when the toast first appears).

I have this issue too, drives me crazy as I get a lot of important notifications during calls. Moving mouse unfreezes it but its very annoying having to do this all the time

I'm seeing this all the time now. When it happens there is a "ghost" notification window. I'm on MacOS. When I click on the toolbar I can see "Microsoft Teams Notification" as one of the windows, but I can't get that window to show regardless of what I do.
Version: 1.3.00.21953. It was last updated on 04/09/2020.

Please oh please oh please fix this asap! It is throwing a huge wrench in my daily workflow. i'm in meetings 6+ hours a day and get hundreds of messages.
This is a terrible, horrible, show stopping bug! Priority 0! Fix this ASAP! -

This has been going on for two months now, complete reinstall does not fix the bug. Teams freezes when a notification comes in, it unfreezes when I hover it with my mouse, but then when the notification disappears, the video call freezes again. Incredibly frustrating!

I've found a "workaround": The freeze stops as soon as I move my mouse to the teams window.
