The Microsoft Teams UI search functionality does not seem to search site pages created on the SharePoint sites associated with the teams. However, it does search, according to the file type menu, Office files (Excel, PowerPoint, Word), images, text files and PDFs. Given that SharePoint, itself, does search site pages, it seems a bug that the Teams UI does not provide this.
