Time zone incorrect in Teams on RDS server when EnableTimeZoneRedirection is set
When Teams is launched on a Windows RDS server with the EnableTimeZoneRedirection GPO/registry key set, the time zone in Teams reflects the systems time zone, not the time zone from the user session.
This includes the times in the Calendar tab & the chat history.
This only affects the Teams application. Outlook & other applications show the correct time zone, as well as the Teams web app (because it pulls the time from the browser).
Hello, we have the same issue with Teams Calendar in our WVD deployment. We have GPO with TimeZone redirect to use the endpoint timezone. The Windows clients appears to have some improvement that let Teams Calendar works fine. But in MacOS and iOS WVD client, the problem is still alive, the Teams Calendar is in UTC timezone.
This problem also exists when using the Windows 10 Multi-User Desktop available for WVD in Azure. Please fix this.
This would be a big relief!
great idea! please change this!!
Can't find any support or documentation that will pass through the system time of users (cross country) to Teams when connecting to Teams on an RDS.
