Alternative keyboard layouts don't allow to type special characters, e.g. ? /
There is no support for alternative keyboard layout besides QWERTY in Teams. I don't know why the developers have chosen to handle keyboard input in a special way but other software is able to support the layout set in the operation system properly including its own shortcuts etc.
Using for example neo2 I am not able to type a question mark or a slash. There are much more heavily used special characters which are not working.

I'm also having issues with neo2 in Teams under Mac (version 1.3.00.28778)
After 3 years most combinations have been fixed, but one last still remains.
(By the way, I'm the author of the original issue you linked. It's been almost 3 years!!)With the neo2 layout you have, for example, following combinations:
"option" + "u" produces '<'
"option" + "i" produces '>'
"option" + "y" produces '!'
and so on...
They all work great.
BUT:
"option" + "h" triggers the Help menu (a pop up menu) instead of producing "?"In all other applications I use, all combination works as intended. Only in Teams it does not.
Can one define his own shortcuts? Or can you please fix this issue by not hijacking the "Option"-key combination? That'd be so great!
Thanks! -

I’m also using neo2 but without any problems. I’m using the auto-hotkey neo20.exe in Windows and the keyboard layout neo2 in Linux (Mint). Maybe it’s a problem if you use the real Windows driver for neo2.
