Teams affecting Polycom CX300 functionality with Skype for Business
Currently following Microsoft's recommended upgrade path for SfB (on prem) to Teams. Have had both applications working side by side for months without affecting the functionality of the Polycom CX300 R2 with Skype for Business. Since mid-January the graphic display has stopped working on the Polycom CX300 and after investigation this is caused by Teams, CX300 will work as expected after exiting from Teams client. I understand the Polycom CX300 isn't compatible for Microsoft Teams and we are prepared for devices that may need to be replaced once Teams only but this is affecting current usage with Skype for Business and limiting our upgrade if we need to exit out of the Teams client to have full functionality of the device. Getting multiple complaints around our organisation on this one. Have tried various things to try and get this working again but no luck and Microsoft have replicated the issue but continue to say the device isn't compatible with Teams. It is compatible with Skype for Business though and this functionality has very recently been affected by Teams!! Can we resolve this?!
We are experiencing the same thing. Since mid-January, Teams is affecting the CX300 devices used by our Skype for Business users. We are running in islands mode with voice still in SfB onprem. If we exit the Teams client, the CX300 functions normally with SfB, but while Teams is running, the CX300 display will go blank.
