Can't join a meeting: stuck on "Connecting..." screen
Sometimes I can't connect to a meeting. It's just stuck on "Connecting..." screen and never lets me in. I have to restart Teams app several times before I finally can join. I noticed that when Teams doesn't say that there're several people already in (and I know for fact several people have already joined), then I'll definitely have hard time connecting. I'm using the Teams application on Windows. I experienced this issue with meetings created in Outlook by someone else (I wasn't the meeting organizer).
Exact same issue when connecting to meetings from external users. Taking the web link from the mail invite works but joining directly from the client doesnt.
I have an issue where it just hangs at connecting for Teams invitations from external users.
To connect i have to click the web link and then when it prompts me to open the Teams App, clicking that usually gets me connected.
I only experience this problem for external Teams invitations. Internal teams meeting connects fine.
Teams is terrible at connecting and staying connected. Often meetings have started and i'm waiting for audio or video.
Can we get rid of the Join button? I've joined, don't ask me 3 times!!!
