Private channel members cannot access files
I created a private channel and added a spreadsheet to the files section. However the channel members that I invited cannot access the files. How do we fix this?
This bug/error is disturbing every person and unfortunately, Microsoft is also not responding. I also create a private channel with my client and added a sheet of our project to file section. I also share the viewable link with my client but he is unable to access the file. I have to share some information of website with him but due to this problem we are facing issue.
The website on which we are working is: https://fastlabourhire.com.au/

I thought this was something new until I read this. How come Microsoft don't fix this?
Since the start of Covid-19 Teams usage exploded and accessing data is essential for any company.
Maybe Microsoft don't have these issues themselves? I assume they use Teams right?
Microsoft, any chance the issue/bug will be fixed soon, please?
Crazy that this bug is still happening and still no response from Microsoft. It diminishes new user trust in Teams when I set things up for them and they don't work :(
Can this bug be fixed? I was added to a new group and I cannot see the files. rest others can see it ! And I have been added to the correspnding sharepoint group (by default). But when I try to attach in email then this group is not seen. What is going on?

This is a serious BUG. Users added to a Private Channel are not * * ALWAYS * * added as members to the corresponding group in sharepoint. There is a SYNC problem. Therefore they are not able to access the files. This is so buggy and unpredictable. MS FIX THIS SOON. Thanks.
My members can't view stream videos. Videos which were recorded during conference calls.
Come on MS, sort this basic issue out...
Start creating a new email, add a attachment located in Teams. So select attachment from a cloud location. Select groups, all Teams will be visible (if member off), select your Team.
At this moment you will only see the channels which are not private, you can't select a private channel while they exist
We have noticed the same issue. We have the people added as Members in the General channel and then we had to upgrade them to owners in the Private channel in order for them to view the channel

We had the same issue - some users added to the members group of a Private Channel were not added to the members group in the associated private group, is there a time delay between adding a user to a private channel in teams and the user being added to SharePoint ?
