Setting on mobile is to have notifications pushed to my mobile if inactive on desktop. So far I've never received any notifications on my Android phone.
My iPhone used to get notifications faster than my laptop, but now I do not receive any. All of my setting are the same and I even reset them to see if it would fix it. When I open the app then notifications come up as if I just received the message

Same problem here an android user and only my group chat notifications don't work I have to rely on emails to see what's happening. I have checked everything chat not muted and notifications are enabled at all times.

This is very hit or miss for me. Sometimes I get them on my iPhone, other times I don't.
Same problem here.. My Android 10 Device doesent receive notifications. On my Iphone 6s it works perfectly.

I have mine set to always receive notifications, regardless of whether or not the desktop client is logged in. That worked fine for awhile, but stopped in February 2020. It also appears to be constantly logged out on mobile (Android). There should be an Android persistent "notification" available as a setting (like Lync and Skype for Business had) to keep it logged in, and so that you know it's logged in.

Agreed. Android user here as well. Trying to convert my org from Slack to teams but the lack of intelligent push notifications is killing the transition. If the user sets to always notify in the app they get it, but it's like the inactivity sensor isn't working to identify when push notices should be sent when only when inactive is selected. Happy to provide more info to run this one down as it's critical to our org.
