All Contact Groups under Chat>Contacts are vanishing after logout and re-login
This is a very strange one and it happened to me twice. I had created a number of Groups with multiple colleagues under the Chat > Contacts tab. I had to logout from Teams and later on re-login Then I realised all Groups were gone! I re-created the Group list (which btw takes a lot of time in my case because of the number of departments/users) and last week I had to logout again and re-login today. To my surprise the Groups were once again gone!
Obviously this is a bug that needs to be fixed urgently as Teams chat becomes useless otherwise,
Happening here as well, I suppose this is a sync problem, as the users with this behaviour in my company are sitting behind remote desktop machines. Would be nice for the user to be informed if it a timeout or whatever causes the contacts not being loaded from the server correctly as well as manually repeat the sync via a "retry" option or something rather than needing to restart Teams all the time.
This is getting to be so annoying as I have to re-populate a large list - 3 times this week as I have had to log off and re-login to Teams. So, still happening every time
We have a lot of users reporting this issue. Has it been fixed?
