Teams on iPad OS cannot open Office Files
Teams on IPad OS beta 13 cannot open most Microsoft Office files within the files section. It states that they are unsupported file types. Word, Excel and PowerPoint documents affected. OneNote seems to open though.
This is a known issue with iOS 13 beta, and we are working on a fix.

Problems still exist
Are there any updates on status of this fix? Our entire leadership team uses iPads and tablets and has no way to open or edit files in Teams.
No teams files will open in IOS 13.1.2
Same issue here. No office files will open.
Its not working again on the iPad OS 13.1 release today. Also updated all my office apps, and wont open office files in Teams!!!!!

Hi, I am having the same problems, will the final fix come with the official release at the end of September?
Just to update everyone. The latest update on the App Store has fixed all these issues
Experiencing similar issues with iOS13 beta. Any update on resolution
I am experiencing the same issue however in addition get the same error message for Adobe files. Can you advise when this will be address?
Thanks for working on this issue as it is great to have teams and office on the ipad
A temporary work around for me is to open my Teams files with the SharePoint app. Two apps vs one to get work done but at least I get to keep all the other coolness (mouse support) of IPadOS 13.
Great news, thank you for confirming this is being worked on. It is part of being on BETA software, just like to get ahead of the curve before it becomes main stream to support.

Microsoft documents in the files tab, as well as other formats like PDFs are not being recognized in a open or preview mode.
