Notifications are not coming
After the new update, there is a problem in the notifications. While chatting if the window is minimized the new message notification is not appearing.
The fix for notifications not appearing/playing when Teams is minimized is rolling out to the public ring. We expect it to be rolled out 100% by the weekend – I’ll update this item at that point.

Same issue for me as well as reported by @Bram:
Using Teams version 1.3.00.33674 (64-bit) and usually working via a Remote Desktop Connection opened via Citrix Workspace version 126.96.36.199 for Client work. I hear the calling sound in Teams and I also get the call on my iPhone with the Teams app installed, but on my windows 10 laptop there is no possibility to accept the call via the pop up or in the Teams application. My workaround in the past was to check who is calling on my iPhone, then searching the last chat in Teams with this contact on my laptop, then on the top right I was able to accept the call using the accept button. This workaround is not working anymore since the voice and video call buttons in the chat on the top right changed from the circular shape to the rectangular shape.
All my coworkers are reporting the same issue.

Was this ever fixed? I am just wondering as this issue is occuring for staff at the company where i work on a regular basis. This is on the Windows version, client 1.3.00.28779.
This issue is still happening to multiple users
We have the same issue with multiple users. Also looks like the problem is getting bigger in time to more and more users. For the most users we are working at the same method as Bram has posted earlier. (Citrix client and teams local on a laptop)
This is happening for several of my users
I have users experiencing this also.
This issue seems to be back.
Multiple people that work within in a Citrix environment (opened fullscreen) who have Teams installed on the local laptop don't get the notification anymore (always worked for them) although they hear that someone is calling them within Citrix. Going outside of fullscreen Citrix does show the main Teams window, the sound of someone calling them can still be heard but they can not see (or accept for that matter) the call or pop-up.
This happened somewhere around +/- half November 2020.
I no longer receive any banner notifications even though notifications are active in settings and channels/chats.

Still no notifications on Iphone 8 plus. Pls help.
hey alex where's the update?
Have a colleague who is having trouble with Desktop notification in Teams, she used to get the sound and ping notification and now she only receives an email of her "missed" msgs. I exp'd this problem once but no other time since. Any guidance on a fix would be appreciated !
I also have a Huawei and I get no notifications whatsoever!! I've checked all settings in app and on phone, cleared the cache, uninstalled and reinstalled the app. Logged out and in... Nothing! We use this for work and I'm missing important messages!! I asked for help about a month ago and then was bombarded with "Test Notifications"... They stopped but the issue still not resolved. Please advise.
Notifications not coming still on Mac OS Big Sur and latest Teams version (see attachement)
No notifications in android app on huawei p30 pro
Version 1.3.00.26064 (64-bit) is affected still. Notifications were working just fine but now they are gone. It is frustrating since I do not know who is calling me. Is there a followup defect created on it?
No notifications what's so ever from Teams, not satisfied at all with the app.
Notifcations are still not coming through on Mac desktop or app on iPhone from Teams. Very frustrating.
My group just started using Team's and most of us are not getting any notifications on our phone. Even the @tags doesn't push a notification to them.
