Notifications are not coming
After the new update, there is a problem in the notifications. While chatting if the window is minimized the new message notification is not appearing.

The fix for notifications not appearing/playing when Teams is minimized is rolling out to the public ring. We expect it to be rolled out 100% by the weekend – I’ll update this item at that point.
Thanks!

@alex - I was able to fix this for two different people by:
1. Re-enabling Desktop Alert in Outlook (we both had it disabled)
2. Rebooting
3. Trying again. It worked immediately. Teams call and notifications
4. Turning off Desktop Alert in Outlook.
5. Rebooting and confirming it still works -

The previous update fixed the problem for some time, but now it's back. Tried to update Teams to the latest version, and emptied the cache, but the issue still exists.

Can we please get some information on this? We have tons of users whose call notifications are coming up behind several open windows and they are missing calls because they can't minimize everything in time. This should be HIGH PRIORITY. We use Microsoft Voice so this is a huge disruption for us since the Teams client is our softphone.

We also have this problem in our organisation. This needs to be fixed asap! The call notification needs to be forced to be shown!

The notification at the bottom right of the screen has been appearing underneath other windows for months now. Every time I get a call, if I'm not in the Teams application, I have to minimize every window that's on top of the Teams notification until I can see if. Very frustrating - it takes ages to answer a call, whilst I'm hunting for the notification window.
Come on Microsoft, sort it out!! -

@Alex (Teams Engineering, Microsoft Teams), the notification problem was NEVER fixed. Thousands of us STILL don't get an answer notification when we receive a call locally whilst connected via RDP, even if we switch to local desktop. Come on Microsoft, this is fundamental stuff. We need an answer notification to pick up the call. Given the magnitude of the issue (hundreds experiencing it in my company alone, let alone globally) and the fundamental nature of being able to easily answer a call, this should be the highest priority bug.

No problems until update for new notification settings. Now all notifications are in the background. I have to minimize all windows to get the message popup. No matter if it is a chat, call, Meeting reminder....This is an essential feature of a messenger.

Same issue for me as well as reported by @Bram:
Using Teams version 1.3.00.33674 (64-bit) and usually working via a Remote Desktop Connection opened via Citrix Workspace version 20.10.0.20 for Client work. I hear the calling sound in Teams and I also get the call on my iPhone with the Teams app installed, but on my windows 10 laptop there is no possibility to accept the call via the pop up or in the Teams application. My workaround in the past was to check who is calling on my iPhone, then searching the last chat in Teams with this contact on my laptop, then on the top right I was able to accept the call using the accept button. This workaround is not working anymore since the voice and video call buttons in the chat on the top right changed from the circular shape to the rectangular shape.
All my coworkers are reporting the same issue. -
