Microsoft Teams email notifications display wrong name
Email notifications sent by Microsoft Teams (noreply@email.teams.microsoft.com) appear to use the first part of the "DisplayName" attribute (split with space character) to retrieve the user's first name.
In my company, the "DisplayName" attribute is composed of the first and last name like this:FirstName: Jean-Pierre
LastName: DUPOND MARTIN
DisplayName: DUPOND MARTIN Jean-PierreFirstName: John
LastName: DOE
DisplayName: DOE JohnThe notification email therefore displays the last name in the body of the message and in the object.
Subject: DUPOND sent a message
Message:
Hi DOE,
Your teammates are trying to reach you in Microsoft Teams.

notificaitons not showing right name
The teams notifications for group chats do not show the name of the person providing the comment. It only shows the first person in the group chat for all notifications, regardless of who says it. Gives the wrong impression that the only named person is providing the comments.

Problem with notifications for trending posts
If you set the notifications for trending posts to "only show in feed", a e-mail is also generated. This is not the expected behavior.

Mentioned people are notified every time a post is edited
When making changes to a post where you have mentioned people (@), they are notified every time a new edit has been made. If you edit your post once, they are notified once ("Daniel mentioned you"); if you edit your post multiple times to add more details, they receive the same notification multiple times.

Notifications do not follow "Do not disturb" setting
Unlike all other Office products, team notifications still display if the computer is set to "do not disturb", and will show up on top of current powerpoint presentations.

Notifications
In iPhone ...under settings and notifications tab... Teams does not appear to enable notification ...(Instead it is opted while installing the app).. I suggest to have under settings and notifications tab to enable or disable notifications

When Teams is minimized to Task Tray, a notification will cause it to restore to the Task Bar.
Expected behavior would be for Teams to show the notification and then remain minimized to the Task Tray. This is how Slack, Skype for Business, and really all other apps that support Task Tray "remain open" behavior work. Teams should never leave the Task Tray unless the user explicitly opens it.
