Markdown is not formated
(This is not an idea, it's a bug report by the way)
It seems that markdown is only recognized when typing everything in a row. Usually I like to type both marks first and then put the code/bold/url etc. inside those quotes. If I do that, Teams won't format the markdown.
This bug also prevents pasting markdown to the chat.

During chat, new messages not visible until I press "New Messages" or scroll down
When I am in a private chat with someone, each time they send me a message, the message is not shown to me. Instead, I get a button at the bottom of the feed showing that if I scroll down (or click the button) I can see the new message. I assume this functionality is intended for when I've scrolled up to look at historical messages, but it's being overeager.

Correct user image not seen
Found one defect which is seen recently-
If I am chatting with a user and then switch to chat with another user then while the second user is typing, i get the display image of the first user as seen in screen shot. Using Version 1.3.00.28779 (64-bit)3 votes -
Message received on Mobile app of teams might not appear in Desktop app and this ends up sending an email after long delay.

It might happen like i am on Client provided Teams id and at a times i respond back on Teams modile app. Now i see when are using two channels same time Teams Desktop app is having bug meaning when we send message or when someone send message .. we see it on mobile app but not on desktop app.3 votes -
Teams crashes when I send a message in a meeting
As of today (17/07/2020) when I send a message in a meeting teams lags then crashes. If I send a message from my phone it will cause teams on my laptop to lag for about 5 mins then the message will appear an it will stop lagging

Using teams app i am trying to sent message, but its not delivering, after some time its delivering. Due to this delay, conversation sequence is messing up..
I have proper internet connection and I am to receive msgs, but while sending msgs only faced problem

Standalone Chat Feature
It would be nice if the chat feature could serve as its own island, like with Skype for Business. It's not as easy to chat with colleagues by having to go in the Teams app; the individual chat pop out doesn't make it any easier Please create a standalone chat feature!!!

Multiple Emojis in PC version are small
When you post multiple emojis from the PC version they are small and they are large when posted from phone. Make the PC ones large too.

Out of Office notifications pop up INCESSANTLY. MAKE THEM STOP
Make out of office notifications go away. Clearly this must be a bug because only a complete and total f*ing MORON would think that having them be PERSISTENT is a good idea.

Non-Member can not send emails to the Hidden Channel
I have created a new Private Channel. I have selected the option anyone can send emails to his channel.
I have given the email address of that private channel to the external and internal non-members. When they send emails to Private channel, they are getting the error.

Teams still thinks a chat that was started with Skype is still skype even though it's in Teams
Chat with an external user who is using Teams still says it's chatting through Skype For Business when both of our Coexistence mode = Teams only in each of our Office365 domains and we are both getting/sending messages through Teams only.
When the chat first started I was using Teams and the external user was using Skype for Business.

Bug: Notifications reappear when a monitor is plugged in.
Hello,
If you have had some notifications pop up in the past. From a conversation or a call. Those popups have disappeared.
If you plugin a new monitor. One of those popups will reappear. And not be closable, nor disappear automatically, unless you close teams entirely.

Unable to send GIFs.
I am unsure what's going on, but the GIF tab is not loading any GIFs. Have been unable to send them for 2 days now.

Chat not showing chat history
Maybe you can help solve an issue one of our team member is having, When she (member A) messages member B, she does not get member B's reply message, and she is not able to see the chat history. There does not seem to be this issue for either of them except with each other. Team member B is new to teams. Help? Thanks!

My Chat Does Not Work
Every time I try to open the chat bar in a meeting, the chat bar takes up that whole column of the screen. Additionally, all of my buttons go away, and the screen, whether someone is presenting, or it is simply people's faces, goes black. The only way to fix it is for me to leave the meeting, join again, and not open the chat.

Ctrl+Left cycles back to the end
In the message composition text field, with the caret positioned at the beginning of a typed message, pressing [Ctrl]+[Left Arrow] makes the caret cycle back to the end of the message. Following the normal UX, it should stay at the first position.

Multi-line input areas don't work on macOS
Steps to reproduce
- In a bot interaction use a dialog which includes a multi-line input component
- Open the dialog
- Try to enter line breaks in the field using Cmd + Return / Shift + Return / Ctrl + Return
Expected behavior
At least one of the options (preferable Shift + Return) should lead to a new line being inserted into the multiline textarea
Current behavior
It is not possible to enter any new line in the multi-line input area

macOS, native client + web client (Chrome)

On team web app, when face palm emoji is sent, the emoji shown on the chat box vs the recent chat window is different
On a normal chat window, send a face palm emoji
Observe the left panel (Recent) and the emoji that shows up there
It is different from the face palm emoji displayed on the main chat window2 votes
