  1. Problems taking control on a MacBook

    We would like to ask your guidance because some users who use Microsoft Teams on MacBook have the following problem:
    When they request control they can have access, but when they want to execute some action they are unable to do nothing.
    They're using Teams from the desktop.
    The problem occurs when control is given from Windows to
    MacBook and from MacBook to MacBook.
    What's interesting is that one of the users can get in control and
    work from their MacBook without problems.
    (He has OS X El Capitan version 10.11.6)

  2. Added invitees to a recurring meeting, clicked Send Update and then Teams sent out a "Meeting Canceled" to everyone

    Added invitees to a recurring meeting in Teams on Mac, then I.clicked "Send Update" and then Teams sent out a "Meeting Canceled" to everyone. So in turn no-one could attend the meeting. This has happened a few times. I am using Teams on Mac.

  3. No way to reopen closed main window on macOS

    If a user closes the Microsoft Teams window on macOS there is no way to reopen it.

    The only way to bring it back is to use the task switcher to go back to Teams, and then quit and restart the application.

    I suggest one of the following solutions:


    • Closing the window could merely hide/minimize the application or open a new , minimized window

    • Closing the window could quit the application entirely.

    • There could be a "Open Main Window" option in either the "Window" or "View" menus that is greyed-out/disabled if a main window is open.

  4. Teams won't offer option to share content in the MacOS Preview App

    When sharing content displayed in the MacOS Preview Application (for example a pdf file), this content is not available to share in Teams. It appears that Teams does not see or make available Preview windows to be selected to share.

  5. When i recive a call on mobile i cant see it on my desktop

    1.sometimes I receive only call on mobile and can't see it on Mac
    2. If answer a call on mobile I can't switch to mac

  8. Mac user is kicked out of Teams Meetings after MacOS upgrade

    After upgrading MacOS the user is kicked out of Teams Meetings after 20-30 seconds. User kan use Teams on iPhone, Windows pc, Web client and Mac with older OS.

    System info:
    macOS Catalina, version 10.15.5
    MacBook Pro (13-inch, 2018), 2,3 GHz Quad-Core Intel Core i5

    Temporary solution:
    Found that removing virus software, ESET Endpoint Security, solved the problem.

  11. Teams display theme is forgotten when app restarts

    The Teams client on Mac has a hard time remembering which display theme was selected. Each time the application restarts it's 50/50 whether the app will revert to the default theme.

  12. Teams application crashes (or video dies) when a new update is available

    It seems everyone an updated for Teams is pushed out to the Mac client, the client will either flat out quit without warning, or the ability to use video will die. Restarting the client doesn't help, however installing the update fixes the video issue (until the next update).

  13. No participant controls in meetings app on Mac.

    This used to work two weeks ago, but last week and this week it wasn't there any more: in some big meetings (church service) the option to pin the speaker full screen and all other options are missing.
    Say we're in the opening 4-pane window and the main speaker comes on I'd like to only see him full screen. I rightclick on his pane and there's no options at all except a grayed out [copy (#V)]. Which doesn't work, of course, it's grayed out. Same if I click on the person's name in that pane. See attached pic. It's not…

    I cannot see if my students have worked on their notebook/homework... (normally it should be bold if it is new as it is in teams) but with mac that does not work...

  16. Can’t redeem invitations properly

    When someone sends me an invitation, I select “redeem” and it opens the browser instead of the app. Then the browser tells me to launch the app; but the button to launch the app from the browser doesn’t work. When I open the app, the invitation is still unredeemed.

  18. User that shows to be Available is in fact not

    Teams is simply unusable. It is not only confusing the **** out of existing Skype for Business users. IT simply doesn't work!
    I try to chat with a person on Teams who show as available le, and after sending the chat, I get the message the person is NOT available, but he keeps showing free. In Skype for business that same person shows as logged out, but ... when I type a chat message there he receives it and responds and he stays offline.

    In summary, we'll need to look for an alternative chat client, this is not usable at…
