  1. Application Switching on Mac OS

    I often find that Teams will not take focus when using the App Switcher feature on Mac OS (i.e.: ⌘ + Tab, à la the Task Switcher functionality in Windows). I find I have to click the icon in the dock, which will take my to the workspace where the Teams client window resides, but then I have to click the icon in the dock again to get the app to take focus. It is literally the only app on my machine that misbehaves in such a way, and it's really frustrating.

  2. Links to web addresses no longer open browser in foreground

    Previously in Teams, when I'd click a link in Teams chat, it would open my browser in the foreground.

    Ever since a recent Teams update, links within Teams no longer open in the foreground; instead, the browser opens in the background, behind Teams.

    So if Teams is set to take up my entire screen, and I click a link, then it seems as if nothing happens, until I move or minimize Teams.

    The problem exists in Firefox and Safari on MacOS. The problem does not affect Chrome.

  3. mac command tab doesn't work when using multiple desktops

    Command tabbing to MS Teams doesn't work when MS Teams is on a different desktop. This is for Mac. It should switch the the desktop that MS Teams is on, and it should have MS Teams be in the foreground and active.

  4. status duration not working on Mac

    The new feature allowing me to set a duration for my status does not work for me on my Mac (running the latest Big Sur OS).

    Steps to reproduce:

    1) Click profile image
    2) Hover of status (i.e. Available)
    3) Click Duration
    4) Select a time interval in the 'Reset Status After' dropdown.

    I've tried all of the options, including setting. custom time interval and none seem to work - my status resets after 10 minutes. To be more precise, my status will change from Available to Away despite these new settings.

  5. Participants profile pictures broken

    The profile pictures on the participants list are broken, then they start loading slowly after a few minutes. My internet connection speed is not the reason.

  7. Teams app not functioning

    I'm a Mac OS user. There is some problem with MS Teams installation on my laptop. I see that the app on my macbook frequently shuts down on its own. And if I try to relaunch it, it would not. I'm experiencing this problem on a routine basis. I did some investigation to find out that whenever a new MS provided update is pushed to my machine, the MS teams application becomes unresponsive. The only solution at that point is to uninstall and then reinstall MS Teams. It works then but only until a new update again comes and makes…

  9. Delay on keyboard input

    On IpadOS I have considerable delay with keyboard input, no matter touch screen or magic keyboard. I have no similar issue in other apps like. Ms word, safari etc.
    this is driving me nuts! Also there is no search in chat ? (????)

  10. Screen flickers and turns black when sharing Microsoft RDC screen

    Mac OS Big Sur

    When I am using teams and am sharing my whole screen and I then go to Microsoft Desktop Connection, my screen starts to flicker and then goes black. However, the people who I am presenting to can see everything fine; it is just me who cannot see the screen.

    If I take RDP out of full screen mode then the black screen goes away and I can see again.

    At no point are the other people viewing my screen affected.

  11. On a new Mac Mini (M1), Teams never requests access to the camera, acting as if it's not possible to connect a camera.

    Teams should not assume that it's not possible to connect a camera to a desktop machine. This problem exists in the desktop client as well as in Edge, so it's not simply the installation (which has been done 3 times just in case, including searching for and deleting all Teams-related folders I could find). It doesn't make the assumption about the microphone, just the camera.

  12. MS Teams desktop app sign-in button not working on Macbook Pro so can not login

    I got invited from a Call as a presenter, Then I log out from my email, then try to with another email to login but the 'Sign-in' button is clickable but not working. Always stay in login page can not redirect to call, so I cant login because of the button on Desktop app.
    So I need help!

  13. Teams App on MacOS has connection issue, video calls drops the audio and videos often

    Hi, the latest Teams App seems to have a problem with video/audio calls. I constantly drops the audio and video during the call. The version I have is 1.3.00.28778, and my macOS is Big Sur (11.0.1).

  15. Organization View, ... in names prevent to read full name

    In organisation view or person cards, if the name is long it is displayed with three dots (...) which is ennoying for long names . May be it is possible to display in 2 lines or display full whenever mouse is over it.

  16. Microsoft Word App(not 365 online) running on BigSur not able to see text highlighted

    After upgrading to BigSur OS I have not been able to see highlighted text in a Word docx unless I change the page color to dark(blue for example) and use white text color. Only happens with the current Word for Mac on my IMac. Online 365 version works fine.

    Image files are in Library/ApplicationSupport/Microsoft/ Teams/Backgrounds/Uploads but aren't showing in the app.
    Nor is the blur background option available.

  18. Sharing window (e.g. Word) not possible if windows starts after begin of videochat

    If you 9open a program after the start of a video conference in order to show its content to the other participants (screen sharing), it will not appear in the overview of the windows to be shown.
    It is only available after ending and restarting the video conference.
    The open windows are not updated in teams, only the windows that were already open at the beginning of the conference are offered for selection.
    Is there a way to update the view during the video conference?
    Noticed on the (current) Mac version.

  19. System audio share not available

    The option to share audio from any Mac I own doesn’t even appear on the screen sharing menu. So I’m totally unable to share music or videos with sound, which makes Teams pretty useless in sense of giving lessons or school classes.
