  1. Teams reopens after quitting intentionally

    After quitting Teams intentially it automatically relaunches itself with a message saying there was a glitch. Upon quitting Teams for a second time it stays closed.

  2. Teams affecting Polycom CX300 functionality with Skype for Business

    Currently following Microsoft's recommended upgrade path for SfB (on prem) to Teams. Have had both applications working side by side for months without affecting the functionality of the Polycom CX300 R2 with Skype for Business. Since mid-January the graphic display has stopped working on the Polycom CX300 and after investigation this is caused by Teams, CX300 will work as expected after exiting from Teams client. I understand the Polycom CX300 isn't compatible for Microsoft Teams and we are prepared for devices that may need to be replaced once Teams only but this is affecting current usage with Skype for Business…

  3. "Open application in background" doesn't work when installed on VDI

    When installed in a VDI using the MSI with ALLUSER=1 switch, the "open application in background" option doesn't work. If this was intentional, it needs to be fixed because most of my users don't want to see it full-screen when they log in.

  4. no badges in Teams Praise

    If you click on Praise icon the badge selector window comes up empty.
    Sometimes the badges comes up, but after choosing one and clicking preview the send window is empty.
    If you recieve a praise the badge is not presented.
    Win 10, laptop

    iOS app works for same users.

  5. Outlook crashes due to the Microsoft Teams Meeting add-in

    I've had a number of crashes in Outlook (Outlook version 1808) caused by the Teams add-in. The specific error from the Event log is:
    Error - Source Outlook - Event ID: 1000
    "Add-in execution error. Outlook crashed during the 'SelectionChange' callback of the 'ExplorerEvents_10' interface while calling into the 'Microsoft Teams Meeting Add-in for Microsoft Office' add-in. "

    I'm not sure what I am doing in Outlook (if anything) when this happens. It seems to just crash randomly, but I suspect I am doing something and just not paying attention. It happens at most about once a day on average,…

    Workaround: I can get teams to work if I toggle the channel from Prod to SlimCore@SpaceTest10 and back to Prod. I have to do this each time I want to use Teams on this PC!?!?

  8. Linux client: Update 1.4.00.4855-1 breaks joining calls via invitation link

    Upgrading the native Linux client to version 1.4.00.4855 breaks joining calls via invitation links for some users on Fedora and Debian.
    Clicking on an invitation link for a call gives an error message or nothing happens at all.
    Downgrading to 1.3.00.30857 restores expected behaviour.

  10. bluetooth keeps dropping during meetings

    Teams consistently drops support of Bluetooth headsets during meetings. I have tried what troubleshooting I'm able to do (not being an administrator) to no effect. There is a lengthy bug discussion here:

    Please prioritize this, it's ridiculous to buy $80 headphones for my teleconferencing and then not be able to use them in the app chosen by my company. They work fine in other applications and calls.

  11. Give option for manual Mic Sensitivity.

    There's no option to disable mic automatic sensitivity. Oftentimes Teams freaks out with the sensitivity and adjusts my microphone volume jumping everywhere. Nobody can hear me when this happens. After a call, Windows Control panel - microphone levels volume sensitivity stays as whatever Teams set it to last during a call.

  12. Can't start meeting with new meeting experience enabled

    I had the new meeting experience working for about a week and could join meetings. Then it mysteriously stopped letting me join meetings or start meetings, with the error message:

    "We ran into a problem. Try again in a few minutes"

    The only way to be able to start a meeting is to switch off the new meeting experience, which is a massive shame as it looks like it has some useful features.

    Teams on Linux (openSUSE 15.2 with Gnome Wayland desktop) is crashed when it shares desktop in the meeting.

  16. Impossible to close Teams on i3 Window Manager

    On i3 the normal window manipulation options are still present (minimise, maximise and close), but they do not do anything when clicked, they should not be there. When you attempt to close the window using the i3 command (Mod Shift Q) it stays open seeming to not even acknowledge the command, the only way to exit teams (and reclaim space on my screen) is to force kill it in the console. There is no other application on my system which acts like this and the behaviour persists on multiple machines and distributions of Linux (Ubuntu, Red Hat and Arch have…

  17. Linux app - meeting without an account

    With the Linux App it is impossible to join a meeting without an account.
    It is possible with the windows app.

    On linux when I open the meeting link I received, the app is launch but display the sing-up screen, instead of displaying the meeting as on windows.

    This happens on Fedora 31 with both regular and insider app version 1.3.00.5153-1

    Recording was enabled when meeting has started. But I don't see the recording available once the meeting has ended.

  19. The profile image cache seems to be broken

    We just startet using Teams and almost noone had a profile image.
    We found, that we have to set the profile image in our Exchange, then wait until they got synchronized.

    The problem is, that the images still do not or only partly appear in the Windows 10 app. Sometimes the images of others are there, sometimes not, sometimes they are there in one view but not there in another view.

    Restarting the app does sometimes help, sometimes not.

    What usually does help is to log out and then log in again.

  20. Giphy content rating of 'no restriction' has disapeared in clients

    Whilst it is visible in the Teams Admin Centre, the no restriction content rating has disapeared within the desktop, web and mobile clients and the standard content rating is now moderate. This could be a change that has been made, but there has been no official notification of this, and the documentation on docs.com shows this should still exist (https://docs.microsoft.com/en-us/microsoftteams/messaging-policies-in-teams)
