  1. Meeting chat in the new meeting experience is set to dark mode, ignoring Teams theme setting

    When the "New meeting experience" is activated, the meeting chat is using a dark theme, ignoring that I activated the default theme in the MSTeams settings. This makes the meeting chat hard to read. (No, not everyone likes the dark theme!)

  2. Webcam on teams is dark and cannot change settings

    Using a Microsoft Lifecam on Windows 10 with Teams is a no go, the image is extremely dark and there is no way to change any camera related setting. meanwhile on Skype and other video apps, the camera brightness and other settings are automatically adjusted and it all works fine. Skype also allows the settings to be manually changed.

    As it is, Using a Microsoft Lifecam on Teams is impossible

  4. Linux Client -- Can't click "submit" on the sign-in dialog

    (running the 64 bit dev package, version 1.3.00.5153)

    After typing typing in my username and password into the purple "Authenticate" dialog that pops up, I try to click the 'submit' button but nothing happens. Pressing the 'enter' key also appears to do nothing.

    I've attached a screenshot showing the dialog.

    I've tried this on two separate computers and it's the same issue on both.

    OS: Ubuntu 18.04
    DE: KDE 5.44

  5. mouse unusable in shared desktop when remoted to another computer

    We've noticed when remote users use VPN and RDP to connect to an on-site computer and then use teams with desktop share, the mouse is very hard to manage. It cannot be controlled. Skype does not have this problem and using Teams locally on an on-premises computer does not have this problem.

  6. Maximized window bleeds onto second monitor

    Windows 10 desktop client, maximizing the window causes 1 pixel bleed over onto the adjacent monitor. Other apps are not doing this, it seems to be an issue specific to Teams. Attached screenshot of the edge of of two monitors, the white line to the left of the app is caused by the Teams window (showing over the darker background of my adjacent monitor)

  7. Bluetooth headset volume extremely loud

    The volume of Teams calls through my bluetooth headset (Apple AirPods Pro) is extremely loud, only bearable when the system volume is set to 1 or 2.

    Hi. Since yesterday I cannot change my status. I use the desktop free version with my co-workers and my status is always unknown. I cannot change that. Can someone help me?

  9. Can't switch to guest account on linux application

    When I try to switch from my regular account to another guest account the application shows the guest screen for a few seconds, then close and reopen in my regular account.

  10. PulseAudio input sink left open after end of call

    Following the end of any call in the Linux desktop client version 1.3.00.16851 (64-bit), the PulseAudio input sink is left open.

    Steps to reproduce:
    1. Start up client
    2. Start up pavucontrol PulseAudio mixer
    3. Join call, call another user, or receive an incoming call
    4. Check the "recording" tab in pavucontrol. Observe that Teams has spawned an input sink with the name "Skype", receiving input from the computer's microphone
    5. Hang up, leave the meeting, or have the other user leave the call

    The Teams Meeting add-in for Outlook causes a crash in Outlook 2016 when switching folders. When I remove the add-in Outlook works fine.

    This only happens on my 64-bit machine, not on my 32-bit machine, where I can use the Teams Meeting add-in without any problem.

  13. Unticking "on close, keep application running" doesn't work

    The Teams app still gets stuck in the taskbar tray as "available" after closing. Why is it still running when I close it?

    When someone shares a screen with me I can't always see all the document because the request control bar obscures my view.
    There should be an option to move this bar.

  15. Conversations created for documents in a SharePoint document library wont display document

    When a conversation is started on a document from a SharePoint document library (not the Files tab), the link created in the conversations tab will not display the document.

    If the document is a Microsoft Office file, an error message is returned saying "Sorry, this file has been deleted or moved".

    If the file is a PDF, an error message is displayed saying "This item might not exist or is no longer available. This item might have been deleted, expired, or you might not have permission to view it. Contact the owner of this item for more information."

  19. Holding ctrl+LeftArrow in text edit box in chat causes text cursor to loop back to end of line.

    Confirmed this issue with coworkers, and also confirmed that it did not occur on previous versions.

    Cursor looping issue does not occur in the opposite direction(holding ctrl+RightArrow)

  20. Excessive bandwidth usage on shared Windows devices

    Shared windows computers are downloading gigabytes worth of data over and over again. Windows is reporting the Teams application is using up to 30-40GB of bandwidth a day! But, the users of these machines aren't actually using Teams for anything other than a few conversations. There's no video. No meetings. No data sharing. No files. No Gifs. Nothing that would indicate more than a few MB's of data.

    Recap of issue:

    • Appears to impact mostly shared computer systems where the users have administrative rights.

    • Impacting multiple versions of Windows 10.
