Prevent students from starting a meeting unattended

It would be very useful to be able to prevent students from starting a meeting unattended, regardless of what type of meetings it is.

This because, when working with younger students, the best option is that only teachers can start new meeting (with other teachers and/or with students).

    Please prioritize this feature so that students may not start a meeting! It is very time-consuming to have to wait and schedule the meeting right before it starts, and then go in and delete it as soon as we are finished so that students cannot re-start previous meetings. Even with all of our extra steps to safeguard, students are starting my scheduled meetings before I can get in there. It is not safe to leave young students unattended!

    Requirements for "all participants to wait in the lobby" are;

    1. A way for individual meeting hosts to set "Wait in Lobby" on by default for all their meetings.
    or
    2. Ability to set the "Wait in Lobby" to on for individual meetings - an option while creating a new meeting.

    If "Wait in Lobby" is selected, then have options to
    - Auto-join all participants after the host join the call
    or
    - the Host must accept all participants before they join.

    Yes, as it is now, I have to enter the meeting fifteen minutes ahead to prevent this. Some of my classes are back to back, so I cannot do that.

    Not only this, but being able to go back or forward to have private meetings without anyone knowing.

    Please it becomes a problem when they started recording one another and the discussions aren't about schoolwork

    This facility is needed urgently in order to safeguard our pupils. Students should never be left in a classroom unattended and this is what’s currently happening.

    This is critical in a K12 school setting. It is the only way we can keep kids safe. I agee with many of the other posts that if you can't do it soon, we will seek another platform.
