Make teams not a steaming pile of faeces
Everything about teams is dismal, confused, half-baked and shoddy. Having forced this stack of junkware on users and blocked out alternatives by bundling it into institutional subscriptions, MS has an obligation not to abuse their end users.
Teams on macos is egregiously terrible. It does not follow any UI standards. It pops up huge windows needlessly, and quits if other windows are closed, unlike any other standard macos application. It uses its own notification systems, which is not only pointless, but ignores mac notifications and opens them behind notifications that aren't generated by teams. Does anyone test this junk?
The web version just doesn't work at all in Safari. There are questions on Reddit pointing out the same issue 3 months ago. It feels like I am back in 1995 and seeing "This site only works in Internet Explorer 3 with 800 x 600 in 256 colors" banner.
It really is the laziest, shoddiest stack of junk I've ever had to use. Are microsoft planning to make a native version that isn't complete junk, or actually test any of their software?
