Turn of reply function under assignment to stop kids from chatting
Every time a make an assignment - kids reply and chat to each other. It would be useful as a teacher if I could have the option to disable this

When an assignment is created a post can be automatically made which will link the user to their assignment.
However, unlike regular posts this one cannot be edited. This means that you cannot turn off replies, allowing users to chat in reply to this post.
Ideally I would like to be able to create a link to an assignment in a post. There are obviously technical difficulties with this as the link needs to take each user to their own copy of the assignment, or I suspect it would be done already.
However being able to insert a link to an assignment would mean that I could create a banner announcement informing users of the Assignment with a link embedded that they can use to access it and with replies disabled so that users are forced to use the 'Help' channel or whichever has been set up for their use.
From a schools point of view it would be great to be able to keep the General channel clean in this way.
