How can we make Microsoft Teams better for your classroom and staff collaboration?

sorting by last name in class notebook

Students are listed alphabetically first name/last name in the meeting and in notebook, etc. then listed alphabetically last name/first name in grades. We need them consistently last/first OR able to set them to OUR preference.

    This is such a frustrating missing feature! However, I see from other Microsoft forums that teachers have been requesting this feature since at least 2015. Microsoft clearly doesn't listen. I wouldn't expect any changes soon.

    It's unusual to alphabetize by FIRST NAMES. Please alphabetize our classes by LAST NAMES. Please.
