Please alphabetize students by LAST names as they enter to help with attendance. Thank you

Please vote for this. There are 4 different request for exactly this option dating back over a few years - or Radical idea - display them alphabetically

This has been requested by 4 different groups of people - Lots of people want this! Why wouldn't you.
Sort options like Last name, First name, when added, title, and location.
This should have been there from the beginning! Every list anywhere is sorted by last name first. Why this was not a default setting is beyond me.
Please put it into use.

Can we have Team members sorted in alphabetical order?
I want to be able to easily compare the members list to my class list. I have not yet used Assignments, but this also needs to have a way to sort alphabetically for grading.
I would add that it would be very useful, new user filters for other fields (department, location, license, groups, etc., as in "contact information"), this allows multiple selection of a group of users to massively apply a policy package.
This is very useful for differentiating Teacher and Student users, and Students by order of school (Primary, Secondary, etc ..) for the appropriate criteria packages to be assigned.
Yes, the table of Members & Guest in "Manage Team" should be sortable. Indeed, a very basic feature. Thanks for proposing.
Yes! Why am I even having to request feature? It should be a given that this is needed!

Agree - too basic

Allow teachers to select how to sort members (students): by first or last name.
This seems so basic, yet...??

For a school using Teams as an online classroom, having the member list organized by first name is really difficult. As we add and remove students as they change classes, its very difficult to compare to our printed class lists. What should be a quick glance takes quite a while.
Perhaps you could give the option to sort by first or last name.
(In the Assignments section they are alphabetized by last name, which is awesome. Very helpful)
