Presenter view when sharing PowerPoint presentation
It would be nice to see presenter view with “next slide” and notes when presenting PowerPoint slides.
Thank you for your feedback!
We have addressed your usability feedback with a quick mitigation via a keyboard shortcut for now: try clicking in the slide area, and press “Ctrl+Shift+X”.
The notes and thumbnail strip should be closed. Using the same keyboard shortcut key again can bring the presenter view back. This update is now available.
At the same time, we are also working on hiding the presenter view by default on devices with small screens. We will keep you posted when the update is available.
Again, thank you for giving the feedback and helping us make the product better!

I need to second Roz Johnson's comment. The ability to CHOOSE whether or not one uses presenter view in Teams for Powerpoints is necessary.
Currently, forcing people to use it has cause quite a bit of consternation at my university. A large proportion of staff do not wish to use it, and the slides are now rendering so small in the screen that they are having accessibility issues reading the slides.

This function seems to have been added to Teams so that when I present using Powerpoint I automatically get the Presenter view but I don't always want that (and the presenter view is so small that it is impossible for me to read and some content is not appearing on my slides - although viewers can see it). Could there be an option for having presenter view please.
