Allow us to delete the numerous files listed in the share screen for general meeting (I'm not referring to chats).

Incredibly annoying and confusing to see loads of previous or recently opened files in the Share list.
Please make a simple way to delete old recently used Power points from the browser/ power point selection.

Please allow deletions of old presentation in Teams under shared files. It is cumbersome, inefficient and a bad customer user experience. There should be a function to be able to delete or at least hide old ppt so they are not visible when I share my work.

Please allow deletions of old shared files upon a new presentation as this is quite aggravating that there is not a process in place for doing this via Teams.

An inability to delete prior shared files not only clutters the screen, but makes selection of the sought file difficult and potentially shares information that the user would prefer to keep confidential.

Please add this function to teams. It is incredibly distracting to have so many files showing when you need to screen share.

You have to create a way to delete previous file shares. It’s distracting and it takes to long to find the one you are working with and actually desire to share. Thank you.

Please Microsoft - allow Teams users to be able to share Powerpoints open on desktop without having to share desktop. I currently share them by uploading from computer but this then dumps a copy in the files in Teams and I don't want participants to have access to that file.
Also, the file sharing screen contains lots of ppts that I don't want to be there but there is no way of deleting them. Thank you. -

I am trying to present new PPT to my students and all the old ones keep showing. Please enable a simple way to delete old, closed files. Thank you.

I need to remove those files which i no longer and need - it gets cluttered and difficult to find the presentations I intend to share
and how about an option also to "favourite" or pin the files you tend to use most often?

it is a pain to have many files, ppts etc cluttering the space up- I want to be able to delete these and just have relevant docs.

How can I annotate slides If viewing PP in Browser- but STILL be able to see participants and the chat room.

The share screen options are too messy and executives need to be able to choose how they want the options displayed. Zoom and WebEx do this in a much cleaner way. This string is almost a year old with no roadmap from MS. Not everyone knows to 'vote' for this, they are suffering, or simply moved to other products

Recurring meetings posted in Calendar need files added to replace previous files/documents used, example agendas. Cannot remove previous documents in the invite. (Not chats)

Allow us to delete the numerous files listed in the share screen for general meeting (I'm not referring to chats). I try to load a PPT for the pupils to see and it has at least a dozen of PPTs that have been submitted to me by pupils as homework. I cannot tell theirs from mine so it makes it tricky to choose the right one

FYI, to add to my previous suggestion on how to clear the files you do not have to delete all of the recent files just the one showing up inside your share screen.

Found a solution from another user:
You need to login to https://www.office.com
Once logged in, click on the Powerpoint icon on the left side of the window.
Now look for the area that says Recent. If you right click on any of the files in the list, you should get a menu, select Remove from List. If you do that for every file in the Recent list, once you quit Teams and relaunch it, you'll see that any powerpoint files that were previously listed under the powerpoint section in the teams share screen are now gone.
