Allow us to delete items (files) in the share screen for general meetings.
Allow us to delete the numerous files listed in the share screen for general meeting (I'm not referring to chats).

Please change the share tray to show only the applications/windows/files that I *currently* have open!! I don't want a big list of all my random old PPTs and apps and files. That would make things *so* much easier.
This is an awful problem that needs to be prioritized for a solution. It is hard to use the share content feature when you can't find what you want to share because of the clutter of previously shared content, especially PowerPoints.
Powerpoints in share tray. Can there be a right-click on the file to get to a delete option?
I agree that this cumulative list is annoying
Need a quick, easy way to remove the long list of unused files in the PowerPoint list
Although I haven't shared much on my screen the long list I get when I try to share a new screen is frustrating and sometimes is impossible to find what I wish to share. Please introduce a "clear share list" option.

Please allow a function whereby closed powerpoints do not show up in the share tray! It is really getting frustrating!

Would be great if it could be implemented as a feature, getting some staff at work getting confused as so many recent powerpoints populate the screen and they would like the option to clear them out.

I agree that this is quite challenging when there are multiple presentations showing. It's especially difficult if one is working from home and has just a small laptop screen at the time. There isn't enough space to show the full name of the presentation in some instances.
Really starting to clog up screen with redundant PPT, annoying that we can't delete the old ones.

Please help me delete these annoying files. I cannot use other presentations anymore as the screen has gotten smaller and I do not want to see those files anymore. How do I do this (remove them)?
HOW TO REMOVE not neeeded PPT icons from Teams share list:
To get rid of the Powerpoint files that are in your Teams sharing powerpoint list, those file pointers are from PowerPoint online's recent file list.
Goto PowerPoint online using the same account that you use in Teams. Delete all the PowerPoint file pointers in the Recent list.
Completely shut down Teams by right clicking on the Teams icon in the system tray, and selecting Quit.
Check the share option. If done correctly, now there should be no files under the Powerpoint section in the Teams sharing screen.
To get items back into that screen immediately, open the powerpoint you want listed in the online Powerpoint so that the PPT is now in the Recent list in powerpoint online. Quit Teams completely, reopen it. Click on share when in meeting, and the file you opened in powerpoint online should now be listed in the powerpoint section of the Teams sharing screen.
This is extremely frustrating and horrible UI design. What is the objective? Share the window of an open file or share an unopened file. Please let me decide what/how I wish to share but I certainly NEVER need to see dozens of indiscernible images that have no relevance to the meeting I'm leading.

Please make this a priority since it is killing the share presentation experience at the moment.
It is very frustrating to have to shift through multiple presentations in my share trays that are old and not opened. Please please please fix this. It create opportunity for error in sharing the wrong presentation. Thanks so much
I would support this - its really frustrating to have old PP files "hanging around".
It's off-putting and there is too much to see of old/unused items when sharing my screen to choose what i want to share. I would the functionality that allows a Teams meeting user to clear out all the items in the Share area i.e. PowerPoint files.
Yes, this feature is very annoying. Needs to scroll through all those recent list and some time cannot find the file that I actually opened.
Please consider to remove this recent feature.
Although it saves us a few more clicks to open Recent file, it is giving us more annoyance than this few clicks saving.
Please remove this recent list.
Concur with the Motion request here ! Cumbersome ! Annoying !
Please let us delete old PowerPoints from the share screen - please :)
