Ease of use for primary grades
Our Kindergarten and 1st grade students don’t create documents often, so if under add work they had the ability to add an image (and have Teams access the camera to take the image right there), add a recording (and have teams access the camera and microphone to capture a video) or add an audio file (and have teams access the microphone to capture the audio), this would truly be life changing to make this tool manageable for the little kids. I know that older students would benefit from these tools too, but it would be amazing to make this meaningful for young students.

This is a huge deficiency between Teams' feature set and other LMS systems. Other tools make it trivial for preliterate children to record video and audio to turn in an assignment. With Teams you have to jump through hoops your average Gen X office worker couldn't figure out.

YEEEEEESSSS PLEEEEEEEASE!!!!!!!!! There are some really nice, user friendly platforms out there, such as Seesaw, that many districts are not allowing their teachers to use because Teams is more secure, and is used a lot in the upper grades. But young students need to be able access things without their parents having to read everything for them and do all the navigating for them. It's really frustrating to parents when their children can't be independent at all with the technology.

This would make a huge difference for primary grade classes. Students need to be able to easily add images, add videos, draw, add text boxes, and add their voice. These features need to be easily used by clicking a button with an image of the tool required (pencil, mic, camera, etc.) Teachers need to be able to provide a template on which students can use these tools.

This would also increase accessibility for special-needs students in older classes! Teams has a lot to learn from platforms like Seesaw in terms of ease of use for younger students.

This would make it easier for primary school teachers to use Microsoft rather than Seesaw.

5th grade teachers would LOVE this feature, too!

I would LOVE for my little kinders to be able to utilize this program for all that it is! Capturing photos/audio would make this much more user-friendly for them in their young age. However, I would also like to note that many of my families are growing frustrated with all of these technology platforms, and some do not even have access to them at home. This is also something that I feel needs to be accounted for.

I would love it if resource teachers/specials teachers were able to access Microsoft teams and reach students as a class (just like the classroom teachers do). I am unable to meet with my ELL students in Teams so I am missing out on seeing/instructing them.
