improve channel notifications
Notifications for channel posts and meetings need to be clearer. It is not enough just for the channel to go bold when there is a new post. By default everyone with that channel 'viewed' should get a notification (this should also be able to be turned off). Too many things get missed because, my team, who are relatively new to this online collaboration concept, don't know they need to be constantly aware of the channel names going bold or not and also don't want to have to constantly check that.

Not being able to convert the current default (Disabled) of the notifications into the channels for an IT administrator is a big problem as I will have to implement many channels for the whole team of numerous employees and there is no administrative configuration that can change this setting by setting it on "Banner and Feed "for everyone. Channels have an important function and without notification (perhaps mandatory and not mutable) they do not perform their function; from experience I know that employees are struggling even to read pop-ups let alone a message that is highlighted in bold!
It is unthinkable that I have to connect on every PC to change the settings from Disabled to Banner and Feed and it is also unthinkable to ask employees to always enter @ mentions.
It is an indispensable and binding option for using the product.
