Prevent attendees inviting users within an in progress meeting
Currently, attendees are able to use the participants pane in an ongoing meeting to invite users to the meeting. In an education setting, this means disruptive/cheeky students are able to abuse the invite option to call anybody within the school.. There's absolutely no reason in an educational setting for students to be able to invite anybody they like to a live lesson (meeting) - we make them attendees for a reason!
There are two methods to block students from inviting users to an ongoing meeting: 1) Disable Call Me and 2) Ensure all students are attendees.
Admins: This feature is controlled at the organizer level. To prevent students from using this feature in class meetings, turn this Audio Conferencing setting off for educators organizing class meetings: Dial-out from meetings: Off
Educators: Set Who can present to Only me to ensure that your students and other participants join as meeting attendees.

Must have functionality for schools... must, must...
Please make a setting to block this kind off invitation...
One of our teachers ended up with a full live class with double the attendees. It was definitely not conducive to keeping the class on task.

In an educational setting it is preferable that only the meeting arranger can invite participants and mute attendees.

Trying really hard to get teachers to use Teams and ditch Zoom but the little things like this make it near impossible to persuade them.

This has been happening to me! Please give teacher more control over who can join a meeting.

Very important this.

this will mean teams can be used more effectively and is more likely to be the solution for schools rather than zoom
We are a school industry and this option is very much required. Students are inviting other students from other classes to the meeting even though they are made as attendee. This is a real privacy breach and needs to be stopped immediately. Please include the option to restrict attendees invite other participants urgently.
Should be added
That is why people are using Zoom for School. It has lock meeting option which helps teachers to prevent unwanted participants.
it should be added

Yes this setting should be added
I too would like this setting to be added. It gives us the control of the class and help us conduct it without disruption.

Very important feature.
I too would like to see this setting added. We're dealing with kindergarten kids, and as soon as you tell them not to do something... well... you know.
Absolutely. We have a big problem because of it. Teachers and parents are complaining.
Please it needs to be implemented with high priority.
Agreed. It is very disruptive when other students are invited by the team-students. Only the teacher should be able to add attendants.

Although I would have once been a cheeky student doing exactly this and although it shows initiative of sorts, we have come across this for some of our customers and a change to avoid it would be great!
